    Fairly simple...

    Both are available locally...

Which would you choose and why?

I have both a 560 and a 562 and i find myself carrying the 562 much more. I love them both, but the 562 is a better EDC size and if flips a lot better. Hope this helps!

I would personally go with the 0560 because I like the military rough style and it's closer in design to my grail knife, the XM-18. The 0562cf is somehow less expensive MSRP, despite having carbon fiber... Anyway, that one looks a little too embellished for my taste. I like very simple materials. I know a lot of people like carbon fiber, but it's just too much for me.

I had an early 560 and felt it was too big of a knife for me. I currently have the 562CF and for me it is a better knife. I also have an XM 18 3.5 and find it very similar. Here's a little SAT prep for you, the 560/1 is to the XM 24 as the 562 is to the XM 18 3.5. It really depends on how big of a knife you want.

    So far I'm leaning 562cf...

The 560 is a true tank of a knife; but I don't really NEED that big of a knife for EDC...

For that matter I guess I don't really NEED the 562cf either as my Thermite has served me well...

Just ready to step up the quality of my EDC blade a bit.

I vote for the 0560, especially the blackwash version. It depends on how big your hands are and the size of knife you prefer. Also, the 0562 has the slicer grind. Both are fantastic, get what feels best to you.

I just picked up a 562CF. Worth every single penny! As compared to my XM18 it won in most categories. M390 vs S35VN, Bearings vs washers, CF vs G10, Strong detent vs mild detent, deep carry clip vs standard clip, $240 vs $500+, and the flipping action is FAST! The blade grind is much nicer on the 562CF, IMO as well. I hope the guy who bought my XM last night enjoys it...

Really like the size as well...

I think any bigger would be too much for EDC unless I was a cop or something.

Where did you get the blue hardware?

Been eyeballing your 562 in other threads...

    Very nice.

I've got an early 0560 and a 0566. Never used the 0560 as it's too big for my needs. The 0566 is perfect in size for me (been my main EDC blade since Nov 2013) and I'm strongly considering the 0562. It's been at the top of my knife list since it was announced but I've been having a hard time justifying buying new knives lately. That said, if I had to do it all over again I'd go with the 0562 (either version) over the 0560, as a backup to my EDC 0566.
