Even though I don't have one, I felt one and mine is the wave. I have two super tool 300's I had a fuse and the gardening one also. I can't remember what that one was called though.
Just picked up a Wave with the bits, extension, clip, and Molle sheath. Can't wait for an excuse to use it now...
Love how my jobs makes it mandatory to have one. well not mandatory......but....."it's very important for you to have and shame on you for not having it" kinda thing.
It's my first multi-tool so I just can't stop playing with it. The only bad thing is that I picked up the large molle sheath and not the XL, so it doesn't have enough room for all the bits, extension, and the AAA flashlight I want to keep with it... No big deal, I just ordered the XL one. Thinking about getting a Skinth with my next multi-tool purchase.
there are so much different LM models, and i have nearly all of them, so it is difficult to pick just one of them to be "the best"... sometimes the wave is my favorite, or the juice S 2 , or the juice XE 6... but i also like the little squirt P 4 very much... for work at the house i prefer a Supertool 300...
I run the box office, but being a big guy in a small theatre I often get dragged up top to assist... One excuse, BOOM!
I carry a Wave in my ruck everyday. Get's used alot...but am thinking of picking up a squirt to carry with me.
Hey Mike - I just received the LM Squirt PS4 (blue) I ordered last Friday. It's an awesome little multi-tool. I keep it in my coin pocket with a small lanyard attached so I can yank it out easily. It gets used for sure and small enough not to be intrusive where it lives. The keyring would be a good option too but I do not always have my keys handy! have fun!
For this week I am between the Surge and Charge TTi as my favorite Leatherman. At home I usually use the Surge and outside home I usually use Charge TTi which is clipped in my pocket.
My favorite Leatherman tool for on-person carry is the Rebar. I carry Victorinox, SOG, and Cresent tools, as well.
PST and Wave. I still think the original PST was the perfect multi... except for the lack of locking tools. I had a LOT of nasty pinches from tools folding up while using, and almost had a BAD cut from the blade doing the same. My Wave is not yet a year old and has not seen hard use but I really like it. It's a bit on the heavy side but it's not that bad.
The Rebar grows on me more and more every time I use it - it has a nice size, weight, tool set and build quality. I just bought another one a few weeks ago when a shop had a Rebar/Micra combo deal (you can never have too many Micras).
