What do you fellas wear with a tie? Pictures welcome
depends..usually this one...
The Seiko, on the left, is the only one I wear when I'm in my kilt; it's the only one that fits under the double cuff and cuff-links.
Nice watch; under your kilt?
Of course....is there any other way to wear it?
various metal band watches
A simplistic steel Oyster in my experience goes great with black suit, gray suit or just a hairy arm Enough to be recognizable but not enough to start a conversation about!
My go-to watch for formal dress is also my cheapest watch.
Wittnauer TTC Longlife Titanium
Longlife designations as the battery life is 20 years. Mine's still in storage, so pics from the web. ATB,
Mine is an omega speedmaster on a leather strap
Cocktail Time. There are no substitutes.
Well actually, there are tons of substitutes. . . .
This Seiko one:
Thinking the new Moto 360 is going to find it's way onto my wrist sooner than later...
Mine's an Invicta Speedway 3644 with a blue dial and gold surround and an stainless steel and gold band.
I don't have that many watches. I have been wearing this one for 2 weeks in a row now.
Depends on what I'm wearing. In khakis I can pull off an Invicta 8926OB or Vostok Auto Komandirskie, but in a full black tie event type suit I generally wear an old(ish), thin, stainless w/ bracelet Armitron dress quartz. Kilts are a whole different matter. In my dress kilt (family tartan with a basic black sporran) I'll wear something somewhat dressy like the 8926OB but in my work kilt (basic black cargo kilt) I've worn everything from the Vostok Auto Komandirskie to a G-Shock to a Vodolaz.
