Thanks for the giveaway. Something that's accompanied me for over 11 years isn't really anything EDC related per se. I've had my jade pendant around my neck for the last 20 something years. I found it in a jewelry shop to replace the one I lost. It's nothing more than a piece of carved jade with a small leaf engraved on one side.
I've had my camo Victorinox Tinker since buying it at the Ft. Gillem PX around 1991 or so, and although I've had many other knives before and after it, it's been carried more than any of the others I've ever owned. It's been a reliable piece of EDC gear for me and it still gets used from time to time. @Daywalker @Ethos @loneslinger
One thing that always accompanied me everywhere is my wedding ring. I married my best friend and she means the world to me.
The only thing I have had with me every day for that long is my watch. a Swiss Army NightVision. It goes with me everywhere everyday.

I have had the same bike-chain keychain/key suspender for longer than I can remember. I think I got it in the 1990s from a bygone trading post. God i miss that store, the smell of leather, getting a pewter wizard or dragon twice a year for Xmas and birthdays...
Well, many Chinese also have such a tradition, parents tie a jade pendant around their kid's neck to pray for their safety and luck, it represents love and good wishes
