What EDC kit do you carry on your body at the gym, or on your regular shorter road runs? Where/how do you carry it - in pockets, butt bag, arm band, neck, socks?

In the gym I wear a watch and nothing else . My EDC kit stays in the locker. On short runs I wear a Flip Belt that holds my SAK or LM Juice, house keys and a few hand wipes and bandages. I rarely take the phone on runs but when I do it fits in the belt.

Just a BM Grip or PM2 folder clipped to the pocket at the gym and a light for the evening walk/run. Phone goes in the other pocket. Haven't had a need for anything more during a workout or run.

Nathan Trail Mix+ Hydration. Nifty bit of kit. I keep a small folder in the stash compartmnet, a .3 Adventure medical kit for boo boos/ blisters (and some OTC meds), very small tube of sunscreen, small tube of bug spray, kleenex and a Cliff bar. That fills the 2 pockets up nicely. You could fit keys and a phone in too if you needed to, as the material is elastic. It aslo holds 2 10oz water bottles. Water bottles are held on with one of the best retention systems I've ever used.

It doesn't bounce, has a nice, wide belt, and I don't even notice it is there.

    I use this on trails.

Edit: I have a flashlight in there as well...

At the gym (or anywhere else I wear athletic shorts/pants) I have a BM mini grip clipped IWB. Phone in RF pocket. Hank along with Vic Midnite Manager and a Nightcore Tube on a keyring in LF pocket. Everything is light and hardly noticeable but I can't stand being completely without a blade or tools lol.

Spyderco Pacific Salt IWB, phone and keys in a SPIbelt when running. I go to the gym inside my office building at lunch, so phone in a pocket and my folder of the day(usually an Endura 4) IWB.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that carries something while working out! I usually carry the lightest knife I can, which is my Spyderco Endura.

Same here, just by cell phone, and that's for listening to tunes. My EDC bag is in the locker. A couple of my athletic shorts don't have any pockets anyway.

I don't run outside on the concrete anymore, my knees can't take the impact.

When out running, an SOS Talisman in case someone has to ID me. For years, used to run every day and I never needed anything.
More than thirty years ago I arrested a drunk driver at the scene of an accident when I was out running, a cell phone would have been useful, but no-one had them back then.
I've got all my exercise stuff, pull bar, dip station and weights at home.

There's no shame in a fanny pack.

When I run, I carry a can of Fox pepper spray and a Streamlight ProTac 2L if it's far or low light. I run on what is essentially a giant sidewalk through the forest alongside a stream, and the moonlight dawn or dusk light is usually sufficient.

My wife found some type of runners belt that clips on and remains snug while running and gave me for Christmas. I keep my phone and truck key in it. It's also reflective, but my shirttail covers it.

I haven't lifted weights in almost two years. When I did that, I only had my truck key in my pocket.

Running/trail running iPhone 7 in an arm band, house key & ID in pocket or RoadID on my watchband, and a folding knife in my waistband.

Spyderco Q (440C stainless steel) or more often a Spyderco Tasman Salt FRN H-1. Even though both are stainless and sweat resistant, I wipe the blades down with a Sentry cloth post-workout.
