Yeah, I knew that'd get your attention, lol. That's how we call the hogs (Razorbacks) here in Arkansas for our U of A football team. Even though I've already got about 40 or so posts here's my intro! Hi. ArkansasFan30 here. I use this handle on a few other prepper/EDC forums. I also have a YouTube channel under the name of ArkansasRanger. I used to use that handle, but after I quit the park service the ranger part seemed unnecessary. The YT stuck, sounds cool, and I have 13 or 14 vids up with around 33 subscribers at this moment. It's taken me five long weeks to get those. Hit me up. I started making vids a month ago as a hobby to fill my time and share my interests. Once I figure the technical elements I'm sure the vids will improve, but checkout my stove top reviews as most vids are shot on top of my stove, lol. I've looked into getting an actual video camera, but I get bored shopping for electronics. I'm a RN / former paramedic and LE type working full-time in a hospital while I pursue my master's degree to become a psychiatric - mental health nurse practitioner. That's the sole reason I became a RN. I still do a little police work on the side and honestly favor that. I'm a lifelong enthusiast of survival stuff and have been into EDC since before the term was coined. MacGyver was my childhood role model, and so my EDC began with a Wenger SAK, Trout model. They're out of production now, but I saw a new one on eBay the other day. Nearly 25 years later, it's still in great condition. I like internet forums, of which there are four or five I regularly visit, blogs, YouTube, nearly all movies, old black and white sitcoms, History and Discovery channels, running, lifting weights, eating out, steak, outdoorsy pursuits although I admittedly am less than a novice when it comes to fishing skill, and my absolute favorite pass time is dynamic shooting which I'd do as a career if somebody would sponsor me. I guess that's enough about me. Let's hear from you. Glad to be on board!
