In my carelessness my hand slid forward
on my lone wolf landslide today. Not blaming the knife of course, but a choil may have saved me from myself.

Only two on the pointer, huh? Hmm. I guess being in the crease of the finger allowed it to not need a third in the middle like the middle digit did.
Now, you need some help getting those stitches out when the time comes? I've got just the thing. ;)

Not so bad! Dad would've told us to rub dirt in it.

S'why I can't use slick knives - without a finger guard or something else to provide a hilt of sorts. My fingers are clumsy enough without adding temptation.

What is really good and useful is the flippers when my Hinderer's lock failed, yes you heard me the big titanium frame lock on the "hard use" XM-18 totally failed me and if not for the flipper I would have lost my pointer. Moral is a choil may not be the savior of fingers.
