I would definitely buy one of these!

The 2 pictures actually look like the tool is made from brass at first glance. Must be the lighting ...

Wow, things have changed since 2007. If these are Ratslash7's tools then it looks like he had a hard time selling these in 2007 but we are falling over ourselves to buy one now! Hopefully he will come around again.

He posted Feb 11 of this year, so he may still be floating around the forum.

I gotta say that the description by Ratslash sure sounds like the pic. That piece was almost certainly water jet cut, or some similar method. If its not him, how about these guys

It's the only thing my google-fu could produce.

    You are correct.

That is indeed one of mine. It's cool to see it again. That one is a one of a kind prototype. I never got around to making more of that particular design.

The little protrusion at the large end of the wrench cut-out is indeed the bottle opener.

My name is Dave King - hence the maker's mark.

these things take entirely too long to make with the equipment I have access to. There's no real money to be made but they were fun to design.

This is one of my early designs. There are several more that never made it past the drawing board.

Dave, any thought to you contacting a company to make and market it, licensing and using your design? I can't help but feel that some company ... Pocket Tool X, or a similar one, would have an interest in what you've done. Just a thought.

Ratslash7, it looks like you have an eye for design. If you have any spare time I encourage you to pursue getting a few of these items put into production. You never know, it may put some change in your pocket. I am sure you will get good support from us EDCF'ers.

Would be pretty awesome to have one the proto's I admit.

Thanks for sharing, and thanks Ratlash for posting. It's great to hear from the creator.

    Good news!!!

Dave King (Ratslash7) has given me the go-ahead to produce these tools of his design while he has moved on to bigger and better things.

If there is some interest in this, come visit me on my "You dream it..." thread in the custom section. I'll put a similar post there as well.

    I believe when I took the pictures I measured it out to 4" x 1.5" x .250.
I had it for a long time just sitting in a drawer and recently remembered I had it.
