I carry a compact ESV Bible from Crossway...just under 4x6. Was a perfect fit with the small Moleskine for my Maxped Fatboy. I no longer carry the Fatboy, but the small size is still appreciated with my current EDC.

While I have Bible software for my iPad, I like having an actual book to read.

I carry my little pocket bible I received while at MCRD (back when that was not somehow insulting). I had a neon orange one and a green one. The neon orange one was misplaced somewhere..

I carry a small KJV or NKJV bible in my bag. My favorite two translations.

I also have a couple versions on my Android phone that I often use.

I carry the Tanach in Hebrew, Quran in Arabic and English, and Bible in several English versions (I usually read the King James Version, but good to have others)...

All as iPhone apps, so all in my pocket and available (and they do come in handy!) all the time.

We usually have a couple of Bibles in the car. I have one on my phone and two different Bible verses of the day apps on my phone.

I EDC a little leather-bound bible I bought at a library sale (it was a give-away from a local car dealership way back when such give-aways were still OK), a pocket copy of the US Constitution from the Cato Institution (link) and a copy of Thich Nhat Hanh's book Beyond the Self: Teachings on the Middle Way (link). Between the three of them I've got just about every angle sorted.

Did you just watch the book of Eli? :p

Even my local Priests don't carry one daily.

Not the I Ching, the Tao Te Ching....
And when using the I Ching, I have always preferred coins; they're easier to carry.
