Discussion in 'Where, When, & How Do We Carry All This Stuff?' started by irishaj, Apr 1, 2014.
Small blade for small job and big blade for big job plus a cleaned one for foods only.
Full size SAK or leatherman for the big stuff, Keychain SAK for the fiddly stuff (and things like tweezers etc). Never thought I'd be a 2-knife-guy and if I ever found the right toolset at the right price and the right weight I'd possibly go back to one. Don't see anything on the horizon though.
Plus SE for rope, fibers, etc etc etc.....!

i carry multple knives every day for various reasons.
A Victorinox Huntsman in my front pocket, i like it for the fine blade for certain cutting tasks, but it is mainly used for the other tools.
Leatherman Skeletool clipped to my front pocket, this is my primary knife for most tasks.
A ramdom Kershaw speedsafe knife in my back left pocket. This is in case my right hand is in use and I can't get to my skeletool. The assisted open with flipper is easy to use left handed.
A kershaw cinder on my keychain. Honestly, i never use it, but it is tiny and i own it, i figured it couldn't hurt.
I also have a blade on my leatherman style cs, i never really use the blade on this
I also carry a leatherman surge on my belt, i never use this as a knife either.
One for dirty jobs a cheaper I dont give a #### knife. Another for self defense slicing and dicing the perp. Work related tasks opening boxes, breaking down cardboard.

@severdhed: I don't think I've seen anyone else on here carrying so many LM tools on a daily basis. You might have a record here -- we should all write LM to send you a certificate of some sort!

One of these or similar for food and hygiene related tasks
One of these for the tasks I won't mind if I destroy them
And now both of these for cutting things I really want/need to cut efficiently
And a leatherman
