Technician's license (haven't gone back for my general - not sure why)...

Don't really use it that much, renewed my Extra class a couple years ago, listening in on AM, might dust off my old Johnson 500 one of these days.
Not very active anymore. The local repeaters are slow these days, and the same people on them day in and out. I tried DSTAR, which is OK. I wish there were more millennials interested in the hobby.
I agree with you; I'm not very active any more either. I got a new car in 2018 and was forbidden by "she who will not be denied" that I would NOT be moving my mobile setup to the new vehicle. LOL
I don't think Millenials would care unless a T/Rx could be included in a smartphone lol.
There is a mysterious magic about pulling in a radio signal, especially at night, no matter the source.
There are apps on the smartphone called echolink and Zello. I use echolink sometimes when local repeaters are dead. Zello is being used for gmrs repeaters

Wow,thats harsh not being able to stick a radio in your car?
I agree LOL, but, in truth, I went from a Mercury Mariner, which allowed easy access and was conducive to modification, to a new Q5, which really wouldn't look nice with a 2m stick jutting up and is buttoned up tightly, interior-wise. I still have my amateur radio license plate and I carry a HT.
LOL - my daughter "forbade" me as well. 15 going on 35
So, how are YOU guys dealing with the increased estrogen level in this era of social distancing?
You can be right or you can be happy.
Nothing new there!

Let them deal with the testosterone levels!
Can’t remember if I’ve replied here or not.
M0RZY here - full UK licence.
I’m not active in the community just at the moment, but do intend to set something up (preferably both HF and U/VHF for local) at some point.
Keep your batteries charged in this difficult time, guys and girls.
I think now is a better time than ever!
EZDog - brilliant!
