Where did you get the white dial and blue chapter ring? Or who did the mod? Looks sharp.
Sorry. Just saw your question.

SKX ... more classic looks and balance. I also prefer the 22m bracelet to the Monster's 20mm.
The SKX 011J is a great looking watch for this interested in an orange dialed Seiko diver.
Here is a Mod I bought from Jake at 10 ... long gone and replaced with a new 007 on a watchadoo ...
SKX011J -not my pic
Does Seiko make one that is essentially the same as the SKX007 but with quartz/battery movement rather than automatic?
The Seiko ska371 is maybe the closest. Also known as the Big Freakin Kinetic
I am a 007 guy. I like the simple style. The monster looks cheap IMO. The drilled lugs are a plus though.
Over the years I have had 3 or 4 007s custom or otherwise.
The Monster on the bracelet is my favorite. I have had an orange one for several years and just picked up a black one. I also own an skx007 but it just doesn't get much wrist time. The original bracelet on the skx007 was cheap feeling ang got stretched out and ruined after a couple of months. I replaced with the original Seiko rubber bracelet but in my opinion it is too big for the watch. I might try a watchadoo next. The monsters on the other hand fit well, are rock solid and have a much better crystal.
I've decided I'm going to buy a SKX007K2 in the next couple of weeks. I have been going back and forth between this, the black monster, or a Citizen BL5250-02L
I like the clean look of the 007 and love some of the mods from 10watches. Now if only I could decide on a dial and hands to order as well.
007 for sure, its the bezel.
I love the look with this setup. The orange minute hand, the bezel, strap. All very nice. Too bad I can't find the same hand set on 10watches.
I do love my Land Monster.
I have a 007 incoming as a "surprise" for Father's Day (the wife used my eBay account - duh). It was on my wish list. I know the Monster is a much sought after watch, but I think the bezel is hideous and it's just too over the top. If I wanted a "look at me" watch then I'd probably go JSAR although I'll concede the Monster is the much more affordable option.
I have owned both, and it's 007 all the way for me, although the reigning king of watches, for me, is the 6309-7040.
I have a 007 and a orange Monster. Can't decide which one is "better". The last weeks I decided the 007 but I know there comes the time to wear the Orange.
