I carry a Skeletool. I love it. It is my first real MT, so keep in mind. I may get one of those Vic MTs to keep in the EDC bag. I don't like belt sheaths so much, so the Skeletool works great for my needs. I even use the carabiner sometimes, like when I do a pocket dump and don't want to lose my keys. I just snap them on.

LM Squirt (scissors type) on my keychain, Skeletool CX in the shoulderbag. I also have a Wave I could switch out for the Skeletool if I thought I'd need the extra functionality for some particular task.

I carry a LM Blast on my belt(have for years), a micra on my keys, and just recently added an original LM PST in my pocket. I found that the quality is better on these old LM's and it is easier to use than a SAK as far as tool functionality.

I've been on a MT binge lately. I picked up some retired Leatherman MT's, a Flair, an original Super Tool and a Sideclip. Yesterday I also picked up a Charge ALX. I had no intention of getting an ALX, maybe down the road, but went into Dick's Sporting Goods and they had them on sale for $69. So I fed my jones.

Favorite all timer is the SideClip! It gets most of my pocket play! On occasion I'll carry my Charge Xti or a Vic Alox with a :D :D Mini :D :D

had a pst for years, what a nice piece of kit, wanted to upgrade but the prices where of the scale but after loads of looking got a wave, thanks to the internet as prices are insane in the uk, then realised i need'd the man size one so got the surge and sold on the wave i belive it now lives in a ladys purse

sorry guys could not help it

i would have kept the wave as it is also a very good tool but need'd the cash to get what i realy need'd, the pst isn't going anywhere, its in my will to go to my boy with instructions to do the same, this is not a joke.

Thunder purple. Hmm. anyway, great idea about the little screwdriver in the corkscrew. If I get another juice, that is where my spartan lite's screwdriver is going.

I don't know if I've posted in this thread before, but since getting my Victorinox SwissTool Spirit X, I've just been carrying that on my belt. While I did get the Plus version with Ratchet, I found that sheath to be overly too large and bulky, so I purchased another leather Spirit sheath that's not even half the depth of the other one; not only is it lighter, but /much/ less noticeable. :)

Other than an Explorer Plus (or another SAK, plus a Rambler) in a pocket, that's the only true multitool I carry on me. In my bag, however, I still carry my Leatherman Kick, for a backup or a loaner. I am, however, hoping to sell it to get either another SwissTool or Spirit, either for backup, or for my bag. :)

No LM or SOG for me

    only CLONES

The only read deal I have is one vic SAK and one wenger SAK, both given to me as gifts.

Model wise , My MT clones are different models

One model ( I have two ) includes hex bits
One model ( I have two ) includes a separate folding knife that looks like a Buck 110

One model with double plier heads at 180 degrees ( I dont know if there is any LM that way).
This one is great for plier versatility but other tools are short ( e.g. 2 inch knife) and the 2" saw is sharp but too short. If it had a serrated blade instead it would have been perfect for urban EDC or travel kit.
It sits in the trave kit anyway.

Another model has a 3" of each : knife, serrated knife, saw. Plus a one inch razor blade. Great for sharps but too scary to carry around. Plus it is on the heavy side. I think I'll make it a " garage & garden MT" then after getting used to it I'll save it in one of the BOBs. Great for survival.

Leatherman Wave Black Oxidized, granted- its the only multitool I have that isn't a cheap knockoff, but it's very manageable for EDC use and very useful.

And, despite all the horror tales of leatherman's "poor" quality, it has no side-to-side play on any of the tools, and no scratching on the finish.
