And a Leatherman Piranha II is on it's way.

Just noticed that the Sidekick does have tools that open from the outside. Too bad. Oh well, I'll find something soon.
Hey thanks, I was pretty sure that was the case, but good to have confirmation. I went ahead and ordered the bit kit (best price I found was on ebay). Looking forward to seeing it come in.
currently rocking the squirt PS4 i also picked up a sidekick and wave but the squirt is my real EDC
Leatherman Wave or Skeletool, depends on day. Also for backup some cheaper Asaklitt.
LM Rebar & Style. If I'm carrying a bag it could have a Supertool 300 or Surge.
LM Juice S2 for edc, Rebar in car and Wingman while at work
Swisstool Spirit X
By far the best multitool for me. Not perfect, but pretty darn close.
Opinel, Rebar, executive

Well.... Ended up buying a Leatherman Wingman. Basically a Sidekick with less tools. Though it's not going to be my EDC multi-tool. I remembered an old personal sized kit I have, with an older Leatherman Kick in it. Basically it's essentially the most important tools that the Wingman has. However, without a one-handed opening blade that folds out from the outside; the Kick is far more EDC friendly for use when out in public in NYC. Also, recently learned that Leatherman still offers the clip option for the Kick on their official website.
The Kick was the replacement for the Sideclip. But ironically, without the clip coming standard.
Order it separately and pay extra. One thing I've never liked about Leatherman is that they don't include needed or useful accessories but always sell them as "extras." Something like their screw-driver add-on kits makes sense when selling separately. A clip for the Kick, or a sleeve for the Micra to protect against pocket lint and surface rust.... That's just B.S. to sell those separately. Nickle & Dime customers to death....
Yeah, I need a clip on my EDC multi-tool. So will be ordering one for my Kick. The Original Sideclip is best, the Kick is a bit of a lower quality replacement of it with (once again) no clip as standard. It's clear that the Wingman is an even lower quality replacement for the Kick. Not happy with the overall shallowness of the tool. The folding scissors on the Wingman would be a joke.... If it wasn't for the fact that the "ruler" on the Wingman is absolutely laughable! Plus, the clip feels as though it was mounted upside down on the handle. Makes pulling the tool out and instantly folding open the knife blade awkward as Hell.
Yup, not overall impressed with the Wingman in general. (The wire-cutters are also too stubby and don't work nearly as well as on my Kick.) It's just sad to see how badly quality keeps plummeting on full-sized Leatherman tools as the years go by. Thankfully I got the Wingman at a good price. It'll be in my very seldom used personal kit, taking over for the Kick as that one will see EDC use from now on.
For now, my EDC multi-tool, for a combination of pragmatic and legal reasons will be my Leatherman Kick with a soon-to-be-added clip.
I always have have my REI edition skeletool in my pocket. I wish there was a black oxide version..
I carry a Victorinox Spirit. At work, I keep a Leatherman Charge tti in my gear bag.

Either a LM Skeletool or Juice CS4 for me, but hopefully a Vic Deluxe Tinker in the near future. I just don't find myself using the big pliers enough, but I still think a smaller pair would be handy to have around just in case
On person: Leatherman Wingman, and Leatherman Squirt PS4.
Car: Leatherman Blast
Bug Out Bag: Leatherman Core
Still EDCing my Leatherman Kick in my Work/Get Home Bag on a daily basis.
Recently bought the removable clip for it off of Leatherman's official site.
Should have just flushed that $5 down the toilet, instead. Even after using the proper torx bit (T10) to tighten it down as far as it would go, the clip still wobbled! Let's just say I'm glad I also ordered the proper nylon sheath for my Kick along with the clip. At least that Leatherman accessory works properly.
Picked up a CRUNCH and a WAVE added to the side of my Hazard Evac carried on person 18+ hrs a day
