I got a gerber suspension. Brother got it for me for my birthday. Its nice with the locks on it and the only thing i dont really like is how far apart the handle splits. Like i wish the handle stayed closser together so it was easier to use in a pinch.

Off duty my EDC multi is the Juice CS4 (only cause the S2 doesnt have the awl and i love that thing). On duty I rotate between a LM Wave (new), and a SOG Powerlock. I always have my LM Micra on me no mater what and my Vic Flash 4gb also.

Mostly a LM Sideclip but sometimes a Swisstool Spirit. The Spirit would bump the Sideclip if it had a pocketclip on it. I keep a Leatherman Charge Ti in the go-bag.

I just got my first real MT which is a Leatherman Wave. How boring is that?

I was considering which one of of these 3 MTs that I'd like to buy: Super Tool 300, Wave, or SwissTool/Spirit. ST 300 has inward facing blades and saw (when deployed) which bugs me and a SwissTool/Spirit at around $100 here is almost 50% more expensive than the two. Although I'm not that excited by the Wave's tool selection it's ultimately the best choice for me. So gentlemen, I present you a not so great pic of the Wave:

My first impression (copy-pasted from another forum):

First impression told me that this isn't SwissTool. I should have told you that the only MT that I've handled is a SwissTool. Wave finishing is much more spartan as demonstrated by rough edges and there are friction everywhere when opening/closing the tools. This doesn't mean that the build quality is bad however, because the tools have no play, they deploy perfectly, the lock system is good and functional, all functional edges are sharp, and there's no defect on the tool itself. Combined with matte finishing, Wave appears to be much more "tool" like than SwissTool, which is good in a way. I think basically I'm just echoing what has been said many times :D

Oh I should add that the nylon sheath that the tool came with is great.

I've had an original Gerber Miltiplier with bit kit in my SUV as a makeshift toolkit. Haven't needed to use it very much at all (knock on wood). I decided that the LM Squirt P4 in my work backpack was a little lacking, so I told my wife she was buying me a new multitool for Fathers Day. She didn't even flinch. I picked out a LM Skeletool CX and the LM bit kit. Very happy with it. I'll put it in a double mag pouch on my backpack along with a SureFire G2 with Malkoff M60L.

While I was at the store, I drooled over the LM MUT for a looong time, but decided that was overkill for my needs at work. But now I have convinced myself that I need a MUT in my range bag. Just in case. 'Cause stuff happens. And I don't have a multitool for my range bag. And I can fix my Glocks AND my ARs at the range with it. And it's cool. And I need it. Just in case. Please, Honey?
