I've got a black Leatherman Surge & love it! I think the oxide finish scratches a bit easy though...

my main multitool is the leatherman surge, that thing is a tank. I use it everyday at work, from cutting zipties, to ripping out heavy box staples. i've also got the gerber multiplier 600 which hasn't seen much carry time since the surge arrived last summer. now the 600 resides in my tackle bag. last but not least i also have the leatherman juice c2. it has come in handy a few times, but i never carry it. it usually sits at home or in the glove compartment in my truck

I have a Leatherman Wave (like legoman0721's) which I don't generally carry, but always go to when I need a good pair of pliers. I also have an old-style micra, but I can't remember when I last used that. I also have a Leatherman e33Bx, which is more of a knife than a multitool, but I stopped carrying that when I found out quite how illegal locking knives are in the UK.

I find a Victorinox Waiter is about all I need - blade, bottle opener, screwdriver corkscrew. I've just added custom G10 scales to mine.

i seem to be in the minority here carrying a shrade tough chip.
i never liked the small leatherman's as you couldn't use the tools without opening the whole thing up.
but i did just order a charge tti. not sure if it'll see edc duty due to the size but we'll see.

I carry a Leatherman Juice Cs4 in a nylon pouch on my belt. I use it all the time, especially the scissors. Love it, but wanting to get a Charge TTi for the larger capability. May be too big to belt carry. May have to reside in the EDC bag. We'll see.

I carry an LM squirt as my edc multi-tool and a larger LM on the weekends and when I'm at home. I feel naked without some kind of multi-tool.

    Victorinox Swisstool Spirit.

Considered a LM Wave or Charge TTi, but they are not at all as smooth and refined as the Spirit. The knives are better on the LM's, but I don't carry a Multitool for the knives, I carry much better pocket knives. ;)
