Old Leatherman Wave - first edition. Great tool. Sold other multi-tools because I really didn't need them by having the Wave. Great tool for what I need.

I've had quite a few but the ones I really use are the Spirit, PST-II and Wave.

LM Micra, bought it 7 or 8 years ago but never got into the habit of carrying it since at that time I was a public school student (5th grade or so) and EDCing pointy things was generally frowned upon. I started carrying it regularly about a year ago when I realized how much time I spent each week looking for scissors or a screwdriver.

My current EDC is a Juice S2, but at work I carry different items and they include both a Squirt EL and a new Wave. Besides that, I have a Charge XTi in each vehicle and a Squirt P4, which I occasionally carry when I can't carry the larger tools.

I carry a Leatherman Charge XTI. My first multitool was a Micra, then a basic full size Leatherman, then a real cheap Winchester one which quickly broke, and now my Charge XTI. Anymore, when I buy something I buy quality as I break cheap tools to easily whether it be flashlights, multitools, knives, or shop tools.

For me it's the surge in the truck , Charge Ti when working , and a Squirt P4 when off .

I carry a Swiss+Tech wrench tool. It works reasonably well, though one of the pieces swings too freely. It's come in handy plenty of times when I just need a screwdriver or need to get a better grip on something.

When I'm going for hardworking, I like to carry one of these two combos :

A Leatherman SuperTool 200 with a Facom wrench N°113/4 which are wore in the same pouch. I use the tiny Facom for two purposes : holding a turning part that I try to screw or holding hexabits, when I don't have my powertools with me and find some particular screws on my way.
I bought it because it was a bargain, and at first I regret it. I found it too heavy, I thank I should have take the Wave, since it got a clip and one-hand blade opening, but since I don't like it, I use it on very terrible pieces of work and now, I act so good I like it a lot (but still find it bulky and heavy for EDC).

A Victorinox SAK (this one being a stayglowed Huntsman) and a 125 mm Bost water pump pliers. This one is very tiny, but you can do 90 % of the task you can do with the standard size tool. The pliers got a far better grip than the Leatherman ones, is very resistant and for about $ 30, you got a set with the same strenght and realibily than your $ 90 Leatherman. And if you have lost or broke one of the element, you just have to buy another knife or pliers, not the entire tool.

Still using the LM Original which eventually being the LM PST. I keep telling myself I'll upgrade, but I'm going with the philosophy, if it's not broken, don't fix it. The new multitools just seem so big and heavy.

eeeuuuu, quote myself. :( In the last week or so I have been carrying a late Wave on its optional pocket clip and a Squirt S4, and the replacement Micra for the one I lost hit the spares drawer. May I apologise for requiring a poll adjustment.

My primary carry is the Squirt S4...basically a Micra with detachable tweezers and outside opening tools. I carry various SAKs (usually a Tinker) or a Charge TTi (my fave multitool).
