Which barrel length in a 45

    Looking to get an m&p in 45. Looking to stay with the m&p series because I'm hoping it will fit the same holsters as my m&p 2.0 9's. My question is, will I lose much if I go with the compact 4" vs the full 4.6" barrel. The gun will mainly be in the night stand, but would like to be able to run it on my training belt or with My other holsters if I wanted to. Any input appreciated. Thanks.

    I have the M&P 45c. No issue with the barrel length and easier to cc which I do often.
