I carry mine in my left front pocket with no holster. It is a Kel Tec P32 with a belt clip. It looks like a knife of multitool in the pocket of a pair of jeans. Who would ever suspect?
How do you carry at a :30min position on your body? Just curious? Is that like... halfway between four o'clock and three o'clock, but a little more towards four? Or... I just don't know how to envision where it's placed. I keep mine at 6:37 PM GMT IWB, though.
CCW Glock 27 IWB strong side sp101 right hip strong side naa 22lr Funny enough I always have my 22lr. The others depend on where I'll be carrying
Generally a Sig P229 or sometimes P226 at 4:00 right (strong) side in a DeSantis Speed Scabbard (pancake type outside the waist band). This, however, is bad for bicycle or motorcycle riding and not real good for riding in or on anything else in a seated position. In these cases, assuming concealed carry, a left side horizontal shoulder holster with retention.
For concealed EDC carry it's a S&W J-frame in a pocket, usually with a Crimson Trace laser grip and a speedloader.
+1 on pocket carry but I use a pocket holster for two reasons: keep the lint out of the barrel/action and keep anything from getting into the trigger and causing a discharge. Also minimizes sweat damage.
I carry my G23 on my right side on my hip and during the winter I'll probably wear it in a shoulder holster on the left side to conceal with whatever jacket I happen to be wearing.
I don't carry with a round in the chamber, so discharge is not a problem. Pocket lint does indeed get in the barrel/action, and the weapon is exposed to moisture. I guess I don't really worry about it. You are a more responsible carrier than I!
639 Airweight on a Galco ankle rig (left ankle - actually very comfortable and easy to access) and an XD-45 compact in my Maxpedition Falcon II gun pocket.
