I mostly agree with Hannibal: regardless of weapon (G26/G19/1911), it carries on strong-side juuuust about point-of-hip (for me, that's about 8:55). I picked up a LCP for running, but after a few tries at pocket carry it went to IWB 9:00 as well -- I've spent dozens of class hours training to reach, grip, and draw from there, so that's where the weapon really needs to reside.

I've found that when trying to draw from oddball places (mostly pants pocket, jacket, chest rig, car seat, or pack), my performance essentially reverts to untrained. I've learned to switch out the weapon before switching out of the 9:00 position. I don't use a backpack hipbelt anymore, so hip carry continues to work well in the backcountry.

Strong side hip at work, also ankle and weak side pocket.

Off-duty normally the same in a IWB and ankle or weakside pocket depending on dress.

    Fanny pack while jogging.

I carry a Kel tec .380 in my rf pocket without a holster, and a Glock 17 with 19 rd. mag. inside the pants behind the back in a custom leather magnetic clasping holster.

I live in Florida and carry a 1911 Full-size .45 everyday. Sometimes with a bug (depends on my travel). Either iwb or owb milt sparks (Depending on the pants). I rarely wear a coat, most of the time just a polo type shirt. I have carried this way for over 20 years.

Was IWB on right hip, but I have hip problems, so now its front right pocket.
    Typically a S&W 442 or KelTec PF-9

H&K USP 9mm. in left jacket pocket inside chest, another one in my right inside chest jacket pocket.
Was thinking of switching to .45 but I guess hollowpoints do the same trick. Lots of bears here though, wouldn't mind having .45 hollowpoints.
I don't carry spare mags, just 15-rounders in the guns. If I can't kill it with 32 rounds I don't wanna mess with it.

Depending on how deeply I need to conceal, it is either the right hip, or left ankle.

glock 33, usually IWB strong (right) side at the 4 o'clock position. i'll carry with an owb paddle sometimes if i'm going to keep my jacket on all day.

i'm a thin guy, IWB plus a loose shirt is key to hiding the gun.
