I must be in the minority here. I carry my wallet in the front right.
Normally my wallet lives in my Maxpedition Fatboy. If I take it out, it goes in the front right pocket, or in a secured pocket (velcro covered pocket in cargo pants or 5.11 pants) on the R side.
I used to carry an uncomfortably thick wallet. I've been very happy since I switched to a CountyComm leather LA wallet. It's only good for 10 cards or so (I carry cash in a money clip in a different pocket), but doesn't hurt to sit on all day.
Where do I carry it? Everywhere I go.
I have to go with Ajax. However, i also carry a separate wallet for my ID cards and Driver's License which goes in the left front pocket or the left cargo pocket of my pants. Saved me a lot of headache when i got heldup once, the thieves got my other wallet and the cash i had in it but they didn't get any of my IDs or cards.
I recently switched to a front pocket wallet with a money clip after years of literal butt pain with a standard walled in my RRP. I had a Maxp spartan wallet for awhile, it was thinner but still bothered me, and it ended up stinking to boot. I now carry the front pocket wallet in my LFP and haven't looked back.
When I carry my wallet on me its in my right front pocket. The rest of the time it resides in my pack. Which is most of the time.
back left for me now.
i used to have a money clip/ card holder but found my self trying to cram to much stuff in that.
now the bifold wallet suits my need now but i still find my self trying to cram more that what it can hold.
maybe one day i'll learn
After having carried my wallet in my back rightside pocket for many years it's not as comfortable as it used to be, but that's really the only place that's left. Sometimes I leave it in the car or in a jacket pocket if I have a jacket with me.
Front right- primary wallet BigSkinny money penny coin holder
Back right- secondary wallet FoxOutdoors advanced tactical wallet
I need to stop carring of one of them. To much to carry around.
I'm sure this thread would make great reading for any pick pockets!
I carry my wallet in an internal jacket pocket.
I carry in my front left or right. I was always taught that if its in the front, you don't have to worry about pick pockets.
usually back right pocket. if i wear a heavy jacket it might go in an external or internal pocket.
Back Right Pocket
For decades I carried my wallet in my right back pocket.
Then, I tried a front-pocket wallet ($7.00 from Walmart). Love it. It took me about a week to get used to not lugging around all the crap I thought I had to have on me. Now, I can't imagine going back to sitting on that lump in my back pocket. I think my pants thank me for it, also.
When going light it's in Front Right
whenever else Back Right
For the past four years I have been front carrying in my left pants pocket unless I have a coat or jacket pocket that I can use, but then I also don't like to be separated from my wallet (e.g. if i take my jacket off) so it's primarily in my front left pants pocket.
If I'm wearing jeans, I put it in the back right. I have no other pockets left on my jeans. However, if I'm wearing khaki shorts, I put it in the large cargo pocket on my left thigh.
It depends on what I'm wearing and if I'm carrying. I'm in Jeans 90% of the time, and so if I'm not carrying my Glock (which means I'm in school) the wallet goes in my right back pocket. If I got the Glock on my hip the wallet goes in the left back pocket. If I'm wearing a a sport coat or suit then the wallet goes in the left inside jacket pocket. The best answer is it just depends lol.
I carry it in my right front pocket unless I have a jacket. Then I keep it in one of the inner pockets.
