    I mainly want to get a pair for the truck bag. I have a pair of Monster Grips which are a piece of rubber with replaceable stubs in the sole and bungi straps over the top of the shoe. This pic is off the web.

    I have a similar product for my boots and they are a lifesaver or bone saver depending on how you look at it. Easy to put on and don't take up much room in an edc bag.

    As much as I miss the snow from back east (but not the ice scraping), I've got to say the weather out here in Contra Costa County, California isn't bad for May!

    SPRING!!!!

    For the last week straight it has bee sunny or partly cloudy, official temps in the high 30s to mid 40s... Actually temps here at my place have been upper 40s in the shade, and well into the 50s in the sun, I've seen 56F to 58F. Ambient today had to be close to 50F!

    Forecast for the next week is 99% the same!

    Right now it is a balmy 0*F with a windchill (28 MPH winds) that makes it feel like -26*. Hopefully this Phase 2/Phase 3 blow will be coming to an end soon. Working on about 36 hours or so of it...
