It totally doesn't help that I now work in a gun store...

I guess my next handgun is an Italian made Beretta 92 Compact L, as this lightly used specimen followed me home today.

My next handgun should be something in .22lr (one from the M&P line or a revolver) but could also be a .38 for the wife, she struggles with the slide on my other 9mm's. (I may try one of those cocking claw thingys)
The .22 is for more practice, more often...and the fun factor.

Rdog... if you are looking for a .22lr revolver try to shoot a Ruger LCR 8shot 3" barrel (not the short one)... I received one for my birthday, and the new LCR trigger system is very good.... the pistol very light in weight overall...as a disclaimer I have a SW 4" 617 6shot also

I just got my next handgun - a blued Colt Python revolver with a 6" barrel. It was inherited from a family member. I only dreamed of having a Python and now that dream has come true.

I will be trying the Glock 17 Gen5 along with the Gen4 version. Also looking to shoot the Browning Buckmark URX 7.25 .22LR.

I have a Gen 4 and absolutely love it. I handled a Gen 5 a few days ago and realized I prefer finger grooves.

People have been carrying on about the finger grooves forever. It just feels weird without them. Hahahahahaha

BTW, I was quite surprised on all the likes I had on my post earlier and I didn't even have any eye candy. Here is my dream come true gun. Sorry for the crappy phone photos:

I just took it out on Saturday for the very first time. I ran 50 rounds of American Eagle .357 magnum rounds through it and it worked like a champ. Fabulous gun and all that I expected it to be. From researching the serial number this Python was made in the early 1970's. It still needs some tender loving care. It was not taken cared of for at least 10 or even 20 years and the finish has some rust patches and pitting. Bore is shiny after a good cleaning and the trigger lock up and timing is perfect. The gun also has the original grips which are in 90 percent condition. I will tear it down and give it the spa treatment. Detail strip, clean, and lubricate it. I am considering sending it out to have it refinished. It will never be sold in my lifetime. I want to enjoy it as much as I possibly can.

A spiffing gun to shoot and apparently reliable as hell!
Only thing I don’t like vs Shadow is the safety, seemed easier to operate in the older version.

In any case congrats on your new gun!
