The voices in my head are getting stronger by the day: 'STI Trojan you have must!'

Same here!! The 2.0 grip texture is awesome but :censored: it's rough. Hope they toned it down for the 2.19!

I've been going back to my roots, lately, and buying guns that I grew up with. Next on the list is a Browning High-Power 9mm.

Update!!!! So, went to a USPSA shoot last Sunday... In the middle of my third stage, my trigger died on my G17. Was lucky a friend had a spare G17, so I borrowed his. I had my small range bag and no spare parts....

Let this be a lesson, have a backup and spare parts with you!

My connector had split at a "cut out" (made by the connector manufacture). You never know when where it might fail!

Should have my new G17 next week

    I am debating either a Glock 19, 26 or Sig P320 subcompact.

Most likely my next gun is going to be either a P2000sk or a P30sk.

Just picked up this G42. Installed some Ameriglo I-Dot Pro sights on it today. Try'em out tomorrow. [IMG]

I just picked up a G19 Gen 4 yesterday for $495 out the door. I could have gotten a Gen 5, but I actually like the finger grooves. It is my first Glock.

I like the finger grooves too. I kinda think Glock is making changes just to stay relevant. I would suggest they upgrade the worst factory sights I know of.

The sights on the Gen 5 would be the only thing I would carry over to the Gen 4. Maybe the flared mag well.

The Glock factory sights are almost universally panned, but I’m one of the few that wouldn’t have them change a thing.

First, they work just fine. They’re fast to acquire, and they work well in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.

Second, they’re stupid cheap, so you’re not paying for sights you’re going to swap out anyway. (Do any “serious” shooters regularly shoot *any* gun with factory sights?)

Most of my Glocks wear Ameriglo Hackathorns or Dawsons, but I do have a couple of spares with stock sights and a third that I actually shoot fairly frequently that wears the steel version of the factory sights.

Due to recent events at work I have a LCP and Talon wallet holster on order, the two of which should sit nicely in the front pocket of my slacks.

A couple of geniuses tried to nab me at work, luckily they ‘methed’ it up!

I said I was "done" but I'm going to order a Beretta 92A1 and have Wilson Combat massage it a bit.
