Lol nasa sounds would be epic! They could call it Tactical Audio Threat Deterrent. FYI, they function exactly the same as a stock Glock. They're just more refined for faster follow up shots, improved accuracy, and such. RMRs don't have to be turned on either it's just on. Battery lasts 4 years on brightness setting #4 A stock Glock will serve you just as well, but when you start getting held back by the one size fits all configuration, look into modifying it. I think I've got all of the tactical / CCW / tricked out pistols I'll ever need, want (or can even think of). I think I've got a CCW pistol in about every modern caliber from .22 to .45 (except for maybe a couple Russian calibers, 9x18, etc.), as well as multiples of full frame pistols in all those calibers as well. Now I'm really more into picking up some of the classics. Last week I picked up a pistol I've been wanting for a long time, the classic Beretta 92FS. Just love the line and design of that pistol. Had one a long time ago but I sold it (and regretted it ever since). So I picked up an INOX. Next on the list is probably a Browning Hi-Power (.38). Although I'm torn between that and a case hardened SA wheel gun in .45LC (along with a lever action saddle gun in .45LC also, like maybe a Henry). Just have to be careful not to spend the retirement before I actually retire!! LOL!
Quoting myself! So finished up the class, due to the Massachusetts approved list and Sig only officially having a few pistols in the list, I came home empty handed
I'll +1 on this. I have the Wiley Clapp 2.25" version and love it. It's a dream to carry and shoots great. Superb quality. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ruger just announced the LCRx 3" with adjustable sights in .22LR This is one I'll have to own, although I'd have been happier with a 6 round cylinder instead of 8.
So I just stopped in a lgs today and they had a nearly new (possibly never fired) LCR .357. I was really impressed when I held it. I was looking for a 3" barrel .357, but I liked the gun and the price was right, so I put a down payment on it. Sent from my HTC6545LVW using Tapatalk
This has been my primary CCW piece for a couple years now. It's a great little wheelgun. I changed out the front sight for an XS Standard dot night sight, but that's it aside from shooting and cleaning it. Even though it's a snubbie, it's not too bad when launching a few magnums now and then. That said I typically only carry .38 +P as follow up shots are a bit easier. It's nice to have options, though. Hope you enjoy it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I liked the lighter frame of the .38, and 38+P is all I'll ever use for CCW, so I went with the .38 in both 2" and 3". I put a Novak front tritium sight on the 2" and a Meprolight front tritium sight on the 3". The .22 will be a perfect companion piece for walks "in the wilds of..."
Kimber MICRO 9 DESERT TAN (LG) (Stock photo from Kimber websight) Or... with the killer Shield priced right now I just might have to grab a 45 first Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just picked up a stripped Gen 3 Glock 17 frame as a project. Just need to decide on a direction to go with it. My next complete handgun might just be the new striker fired Beretta.
Picked up a Dan Wesson Guardian 9mm a couple of weeks ago. It has become my CCW weapon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Kind of liking what I am reading about the new S&W M&P 2.0. Also liking the FDE version. Anyone have any opinions on it?
It's an M&P, so it is very ergonomic. Since it is still an M&P, the trigger still sucks IMHO. Better that the previous generation, but still nowhere near a Sig P320, VP9 or PPQ.
I'm wrapped around the axle at the moment wanting a Browning Hi-Power, but if I could get over that I think I'd like a threaded CZ, like a P1.
I have an ongoing AR15 pistol project.... yeah I know, why?... currently with a LAW engineering folding stock adapter for the buffer tube, and 10.5 in barrel... soon to have a 7"... see if I can get it to run with a short barrel...
I have yet to pick one up. I've been looking at the P320 and VP9. The 320 seemed a really nice pistol
If you're seriously considering an HK, why not go with the USP (9mm)? It's a much better pistol than the VP9 for not that much more $$$. (Plus it doesn't have that worthless rail on the bottom to catch on anything and everything)
I've really got my eye on a second hand p220 elite scorpion. Now I just have to figure out what I can sell off to fund it... Sent from my HTC6545LVW using Tapatalk
