I see in the other sections about impending knives, flashlights, keychain tools/bits but didn't see one about weapons so here goes. I'm wanting my next handgun to be a Glock 17. I had one, traded it for a Glock 21 (and then sold that to fund my 1911) but still wish I had the 17...and the 21. That gun was just a smooth shooter and the fact that I have like 5 holsters for it still doesn't hurt. What are you guys saving for?
Dan Wesson 1911...haven't decided which one. Oh and a Chiappa Rhino snubbie. Glock Model 20 after that, then I'll be done...unti; next year.
Got two seecamps ordered a 32 and a 25 if they make them . Also on the list for a 1903 colt if they ever make them. Jake
Smith and Wesson M&P pro core ported in 9mm, plus a threaded barrel and hopefully a suppressor not to long after that. Minnesota just removed the old laws against suppressors this year.
I'm planning on trading my p938 for either a g19 or an m&p 9c, possibly tomorrow. After that, I kind of want to get into 3gun, so an AR and a shotgun are on the list. The AR is probably going to be a Daniel Defense v11 Pro with a vortex optic. The shotgun...well, I honestly don't know much. I've only shot side-by-sides. The Mosberg 930 JM Pro seems decent...mostly because normal shotgun safeties are weird for a lefty. I've missed a lot of true pairs on sporting clay fields because the safety got switched on for one stupid reason or another.
There are several I want from a purely theoretical point of view, but nothing that I will actually buy. I just don't have any need for anything new.
I would like to get a Rock Island Armory 1911 in .45 with a rail but will probably end up with a Ruger 9e because of the cost and dozen or so mags I already have... a Sig P238 would be nice for an ankle/BUG too. Will probably try to pick up a Remington 870 express 20 gauge for the wife but would like to get a .300 Blackout SBR with a can...
I miss the simplicity and reliability of a snub nose 38. I've had two in my life (LCR and M37) and traded them both. Back then, I was hung up on a guns capacity and it's ability to take on a zombie apocalypse. I'm also becoming a bit disenchanted with my LCP (developing a problem feeding JHP ammo) and would greatly prefer something that's 100% reliable. I'd much rather have 5 sure shots at my disposal than maybe 7 out of an LCP.
Unless it's completely unreliable... NEVER SELL A GUN!!! I've regretted every single one I've ever sold (save one).
Glock 19, Ruger SP101 in .357, Ruger Vaquero (or similar) in .357, a threaded .22 (probably a Ruger ), and a .45 LC/.410 revolver round out my top 5 wish list on the handgun front...
I have to finish my AR first (need an upper), but I'd like to sneak in a Glock 29sf if I can fund it this year or the next.
Before I buy a new gun I first have to fix my Glock 29. Doing retention drills with a partner it was dropped and broke the rear sight so new sights are on order then I need to get the tools to do the work. After that I'm going to get a SR1911 for my wife then a Sig 220 Stainless Elite 10 mm for me. I would also like to get a 44 spl stubby and a stainless revolver in something smaller than my 454.
I have two on my immediate list. A CZ P-09 will be first because of the lower cost and eventually a Lionheart LH9C.
I liked the Bersas I've shot before but not really a fan of 380s. Shield is a pretty solid gun. Next up for me is either an M&P 9 or 45 or maybe a nice revolver.
