Victorinox Pioneer. No lock, no fancy steel no tactical mumbo jumbo*, but in my not so humble opinion, it is probably the most useful and versatile EDC knife ever made.

*Even though it actually started out as a military knife.

Not in the pocket but any Mora for sure.

The Victorinox SAKs are really catching my attention lately, I still don't feel like I have pinned down the perfect one though.

My ZT0801 hands down. My second in line would be my ZT0566

Yeah, I gotta free with this. Although my version is the old Wenger SI, I think this is the almost perfect edc go-to pocket knife.

Delica 4. Not fancy or exotic, but that's my answer and I'm sticking to it!

My favorite is the bk-14 with izula scales, its cheap and the blade design fits me well.

That I own currently, Spyderco Military. All time favorite that I unfortunately had to sell was/is a Strider SnG.

Victorinox Alox Cadet. Ever since I got it, it has been in my pocket or when not wearing clothes with pockets, on my desk. I also have the slightly larger Victorinox Alox Electrician, but the Cadet is the one I carry every single day.

Here it is pictured with a Case Small Texas Jack that I have paired it with every day so far this year. I love them both, but the Cadet is "it."

The answer to that questions changes, not daily, but often enough. I carried a SAK and/or Old Timer Barllow through my teen years, then an older style Cold Steel Voyager large tanto. then it was a new style Voyager medium tanto, then CS recon 1 tanto, and now its my Manix2. Now i love all the knives i mentioned and still own all but two. All of this to say i dont have one in my collection that i love enough to buy another or to carry regardless of what i am wearing. So i guess i dont have an absolute favorite. I will say the Manix with its super light weight frame is currently in the top 2 on my list. The other is the RECON 1

I have to agree. I usually have a larger folder to accompany my SAK Soldier but it is usually at the centre of my EDC and has been for about 18 yrs!

Ugh might as well ask, "out of all your kids, which one is your favorite?"

    Lol

I've had some really awesome knives come through my hands. Delica and Small Sebenza to name a few. But overall overall. Ergonomics, fast deployment, easy closing, aesthetics, a classic, balanced weight, deep carry clip, and price. The Mini Grip. (Took me 4 mini grips to realize its greatness)

Honestly, i have not an answer to this question.
I change my mind so quickly, and every day i see lots of other more interesting knives everywhere (have a look at LionSteel Damascus new ones...)
"Has got to go in my pocket"... that excludes my Bernie Garland woodlore custom (probably my everytime favourite one...).
Taking a decision as asked: my Micheal Morris Friction Folder Bobtail. Again.

Small sebenza insingo I just wish it was legal for me to EDC, now a slipjoint version with a sub 3" blade of that would be my ultimate EDC grail
