My 4Sevens MiniCR2 Quark in Titanium. I keep it on my key chain and so it goes everywhere with me. I use it every day.
It's not a cell phone, so I'll say that my new favorite edc item (although still tied with my Benchmades) is my rooted Xoom tablet running ICS...
I did a paracord wrap around an used hand sanitizer bottle and threw a split ring on the bottom end to connect to my keychain. I followed the directions from SyberProdigy on Instructables for the germ grenade. I'm thinking of redoing it following Stormdrane's instructions though. Or just do a straight cobra stitch (like the ITSTactical one, only without the side wraps).
Here's the hand sanitizer version of it (straight cobra). After I get another bottle emptied, I'm gonna do the same and fill it up with sriracha. With the current sriracha one, the bottle shape was odd so the wrap wasn't working too well and kept slipping (the bottle tapered toward the top). Doing the cobra around it in this way on a more square-ish bottle actually gets it pretty tight without slipping, even without side wraps.
Probable my least used EDC item but currently my fav' item is my mini titanium whistle http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk/THE_MINI_TI_WHISTLE/p474753_5169145.aspx It's so small you have to blow it with the hole to the side to allow air to escape.
Would have to be my Savitsky Design Snailor wallet. Carries my EDC brass Vox Snailor with me daily!!! -BTO-
I would love to say a knife or flashlight, because they are both used everyday and they bring me joy. But I have a few and switch them around.. So I am going to go with my Kindle paperwhite. I love real physical books, but the Kindle is just so portable and when I get near the end of a book I always have the next one queued up and ready to go. It is single handedly why I carry a bag with me most of the time (though in winter sometimes it can fit in coat pockets) I love to read.
Hmm....3 years and 7 months gap... I don't know how to answer...I think my favorite is probably my Ultratech because it's just cool. But, it wouldn't be the last thing standing if, somehow, I could only carry 1 thing.
