Citizen canvas strap mens watch. Never needs batteries and I can use it to find North.

It would be one of two watches that I own; likely the one that I happen to be wearing at the time the "B-U" situation arises because I'll be far too busy to be fornicatin'-around trying to decide which timepiece to wear...

It would have to be my solar/atomic G-Shock Mudmaster :

Of course I'm a watch guy, so if at all possible my Rolex Seadweller is going in my bag.

Definitely my GWM5610-1. Solar and atomic (assuming the time signal keeps broadcasting), and tough as nails. Not cumbersome or bulky. I (we) love this thing.

Not that I plan to bug out, but if I did, the last thing I would worry about is "am I wearing the correct watch"

It's the Aquatimer 2000 by IWC. They no longer make this version, but it's easy to find, e.g., eBay.

Tough choice between a simple reliable mechanical or a g-shock solar. I'd probably take the G-shock just because it'll be tough and I'll probably die long before the capacitor gives out.
