9 time out 10, toms. They are extremely minimal, comfortable, and you don't need to wear socks. I hate socks.
I'm really a fan of Saloman X Ultra Mids. I bought them for work, but find myself wearing them with jeans all the time. The more I wear them the more comfortable they get.
Keen boots. Hands down the most comfortable steel toe boot I have ever worn. I have had redwings that were more comfortable, but they weren't steel toe, and weren't comfortable when resoled. And the sole wears down so quickly on redwings!

Wearing some Converse steel toe combat boots in foilage green. They go with my OD green 5.11s and blue jeans very well.
