hehe yep he is right... best shoes ever and their cheap.. but for work i like to wear meindl army gore and the altberg dessert veldhog
Dr. Martens classic 8 eyelet boots. Love these things. I have the resurrected fisherman sandals for summertime.
For work, a pair of Wolverine composite toe. Work out, Sketchers sport or Adidas. At home, Reef flip flops.
Oh, but they are, try standing on ice with only a piece of dry wood under your bare feet and you'll understand why.... wood insulates like nobodies business! And if it starts to freeze outside you can stuff em with old newspaper and they get really blistering hot!
At home I use a pair of Haglöfs Hawk, love em! At work I use Haix Airwalk P6. Loved em untill they started to make a squiking sound. Had em about a year before they started.
I wear Merrell jungle mocs almost exclusively. I am on my third pair now. It takes me about 12 to 18 months to burn trough a pair with every day wear. When I need something more substantial, I have a pair of Rockport boots. The boots do not get much use, but look as good now as when I bought them six years ago. Sent from my A854
Im pretty sure they are very very hard to get anywhere outside the Netherlands...... Maybe you could get some at Dutch speciality stores if you can find those but chances are you'll end up with the tourist variety; pretty painted clogs that are nowhere near as durable as they should be... more a souvenir than footwear.
Oh, and before i forget; Walking on these is.... well, its different. You have to curl up your toes whenever you foot isnt on the ground so you don't lose em. I've walked on these since i was a little kid so i do this automatically and i can almost outrun my dog on these but most of my friends are quite unable to walk on these because they never learnt how to.
I'm not sure if this web site/these clogs are any good, but they do carry unpainted clogs at the bottom of the page... http://www.dutch-souvenirs.com/ How big a dog?
Those look about right, prices are okay as well (tho not cheap, but certainly not over expensive). And my dog is somewhat of a retriever-sized one...... and a quick one as well!
Men's Reebok Club White. I have recently been exploring Merino wool socks, which I am liking much better than cotton.
