I use a Namiki Vanishing Point every day in fine point. To sign documents, I use my Pelikan M200 or Pelikan M600.

I have discovered I have a bit of a pen fetish. Pilot G-2, Rite in the Rain, Zebra 402, Zebra-701. All used in rotation and always 2 each. The 701's are the swap out 402 modification with fisher refills. The 402's have the metal refills. Jailors and Leos are hard on thier pens and I am no excepton. Most of the Officers in my Jail rock the Pilot G-2. Great pen for the price. Refills are 1$ ish for 2 at Wally World.

Waterman rollerball, with G2 black .7mm refill and a Zebra compact in wallet. I also keep a G2 pen in my briefcase as a backup (or refill donor).

Does the Zebra T-3 take the same refills as the F-701/F-301 series that are available at most retail outlets? The pen looks pretty skinny and would love to EDC it if it writes/flows/dries quickly just as well as the F-301 series pens.

    Thanks

    The refill is 4c-0.7 http://www.stationeryart.com/zebra-zebra-japan-4c07-07mm-ball-refill-black-p-469.html

The refill is 2.6 inches long/short and the whole pen is 3.9 inches, so I doubt it would fit a F-701 refill, but i never handled one. meybe you could cut them down to size. I live in Europe, so not the same retail availability. I bought mine on Ebay http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=zebra+t3&_sacat=0&_odkw=zebra+t+3&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

    All modified Zebra pens here.

    From left to right:

    1. 2.5'' pen and screw driver; kept in wallet for backup

    2. Modified Zebra compact F-301 with screw driver for everyday use

    3. Shortened F-701 for formal wear

    Thank you for the response.

It appears it does not take the same refills like you say but do you know if it writes the same as the f-301's?

If not no biggie, I just don't see this little pen on Zebra's website(I'm either blind or it's not their).

Thank you for your help, looking forward to purchasing the little guy as long as it writes the same.

    Take care
    -Matt

Some of the parts came from a compact F-301. So I would say it was a compact F-301.

Here it is in the wallet. It can also be carried on a keychain.

I also use a pencil modified from a compact F-301.

Next to the original compact F-301 for size reference

Another Fisher Bullet Pen user here. I've been using one for several years now, and I like it very much. The ink can bleed a little on thin paper, but otherwise, I've had no problems with it. Mine is black with my name engraved on it (only because the did it for free, and because I have a habit of leaving them in classrooms after I walk out).

Normally I just carry 1 pen on my person (Parker Jotter, Black Fisher Space Bullet, Zebra 701) and a Zebra F-301 Compact in my wallet.

When In class or a setting where lots of writing is required I generally use this setup.
