Vic Classic. How did I get along with just that?
Buck 110... modified...
And an INCANDESCENT 2AA Maglite... Yeah...
I'll post pics later; I know they're both in the truck.
Couldn't find the Maglite... probably threw it away or gave it to one of my kids.
15 years ago? Probably a pocketful of Trojans and a one-hitter.
My how things change.

Not quite 15 years ago but close to it I was carrying a Spyderci Delica a friend gave me.
These still belongs to me. Much knives has come and go! These are over 20 years old! The Herbertz Damaszener was much expensive as a 17 year old! But I had to have it! Since this time, my love began! :-D

I was -1. So i believe I was the one bieng carried
A 1970 10x dot case stockman and a case mushrat..I still have the stockman.
First production run camillus Cuda Jr. Ats-34, g10, liner lock, combo blade. Still have it, but it's been missing the pivot screws since I tried to clean it up and lost them years ago. Camillus wanted to make a work around for the switchblade laws and assisted opening wasn't around yet.
I was only carrying a little old browning pocket knife my grandpa bought me when I was 12, I was 18 in 1999, my senior year.
Great question - I was almost certainly still only carrying a Case Executive daily (still have the knife but don't have a picture of it...) that my father gave me. A year or two later I got a Cold Steel Voyager that was eventually confiscated at the courthouse when my lawyers entry pass expired and I had to go through the main gate - handed it over and told to pick it up on the way out ... of course it was nowhere to be seen at the end of the morning session...
Swiss army Traveler until 2005
15 years ago I would of had an Opinel No8 or a SAK Tinker in my pocket.

15 years ago I carried a Spyderco Endura with a half-serrated blade, a Leatherman PST and a Zippo .................
15 years ago all I knew about sharpening was that I sucked at it, so I mostly used disposable blade knives. I worked in retail for many years and part of that was a little tap knife that I still have to this day (though technically I've been carrying that knife officially for 14 years this month).
So, I'd say around 15 years ago aside from disposable blade knives, I was likely carrying a Gerber Ridge like this one. This one may have even been the one I gave him that I carried so many years ago, I've given him a couple of these knives and he loves them. I'm touching up some chips in the edge on this one.
As for disposable blade knives, I've had this Gerber EAB for a long time but I don't think I've had it 15 years, still has seen a LOT of carry and use. I took a Dremel to it years ago to round off the edges because it used to scratch up my hand when going into my pocket.
As for the tap knife, this has to be hands down my longest running EDC item of any kind, knife or other. I was given this knife the first day of a job March 3 2000 and have carried and used it everyday since. It just turned 14 this month. It has seen so much use that the corners have rounded from wear and it has stress cracks all over it (it's aluminum unlike most tap knives that are steel). I don't even remember what it used to say, something about Be Your Best or something like that and it had a little person jumping up by the blade but most of it has worn off now. It's such a simple little disposable and often lost tool, I don't know why or how I have managed to hang onto this thing for so many years but I think I would go into a panic attack if I lost it.
Always had a SAK on me, Camper, Hiker and the like plus a Maglight.
Funny today my son modded a Maglight, we have 5 still (two I use as battery tubes), with one of those $10 kits with LED emitter and clicky.
what did I carry back in the day? some no name POS that I got at boyscout camp but boy was I proud of it
15 yrs? probably gave up Gerber FSII and thought all I needed was my SuperTool.
A bear lockback before they were Bear and Son.
Probably a wallet, backpack, and high school ID around my neck.
1999, I was 2.... perhaps a toy car a stuffed animal and a plastic spoon at times
