I have one, used it as a starter "Barney" mag at matches when I used my 34 in USPSA Production division (10 round limit except allowed 11 rounds start from holster or loaded starts) to load and make ready then it is stowed in back pocket as a 9 round O SH~T mag
Alternately when you go with a trigger happy friend to a range ( or new shooter/kid etc.) to make the ammo last a bit longer if that is a concern.

What to do with a 10 round magazine? Load 'em up and use it in your pistol of choice.
In California we are used to making do with what we have.
