I think 4Sevens is selling flashies through Wally-world.
Walmarts stock varies so much from store to store. Seems like all the really cool stuff is always sold at "other" walmarts. Ah well, I still enjoy going and seeing what they have new.
Then make sure it's a Wal-Mart Superstore.
Mobuse - This should prepare you for your walmart experience.
my weirdness award goes to the Nazi woman with the black guy.....
Heh. Well, have fun in Atlanta; it's my home town. Traffic will be an interesting experience. And it bothers me a little how much Wal-Mart has become iconic of American culture. :/
Anyway, depending on what and why you're buying, you may want to pick up some Surefire or Fenix lights from REI. They also do free shipping to stores.
almost every walmart has buck 110s... best knife ever... id rather have my buck 110 than all my benchmades and spydercos...
If David sold his lights through Wal-Mart, I'd be there right now . . . ignoring my wallet as it cries out to me in sheer pain.
In name only.
At 10pm, many Wal-Marts close over half of the departments inside. You can still buy things that don't require the assistance of a Wal-mart employee. For example, grabbing clothes off the racks and then taking them up to the sales registers. But if you want to buy a watch or jewelery at the jewelery counter, tough luck.
If you work nights, you can indeed walk into Wal-Mart at 3am and buy a shirt or do grocery shopping. If your ipod, cellphone, or digital camera broke down; you have to wait a few hours until the electronics department opens again.
You should also try Bass Pro, at 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway Lawrenceville, GA 30043 Phone: 678-847-5500
No Cabelas or Gander Mountain in GA.
REI is always nice. If you lucky, their stores are good tourist attractions in their own right.
Bass Pro looks like fun, but a bit far off.....I guess I'll have to limit my shopping to one wal-mart, REI and a mall where I can get some Levi's jeans.....
Many years ago, I wore Levi's exclusively, now it is Carhartts.
Mobuse, you should be able to fulfill all your snack food requirements at the checkout lane. Plus, some of the candy containers can be repurposed for EDC.
That is the one!
Must admit, I did get my Kershaw Skyline from Wal-Mart. No issues at all with it. A good place to pick up a Kershaw Leek as well.
