Delica 4, I love mine, pretty much the perfect EDC knife.

I would suggest starting with a Delica or Endura.

For your price range I'd buy 2 of the Tenacious. One in full serration, and one in plain edge.
Truly a great knife at it's price point. :roof:

I have the tenatious and think it is an excellent value. I personally feel that it is just a tad too bulky and prefer the Delica due to this one thing.

    :iagree:

If you are looking for an EDC the Delica 4 is going to be pretty tough to beat.

Well, I gotta say the Endura 4 with the Wave. I like the thin grip, nice length, out of the pocket quick. And I like being able to disassemble (actually just loosen enough ) to get the tip of some spray cleaner inside. I have cleaned trout, cleaned a bunch of poo out of my boots, and other nastiness, so I like to blow all that whatnot out and then dry and oil it back up. I like the shape and hold of the Native, but the only one I ever held was riveted IIRC. Spyderco makes good stuff! :)

Delica is a good start. I started with an Endura but felt the Delica was a better EDC knife (smaller). Now I have a Caly3 and although its twice the price the higher end Spydercos are defnitely worth every penny :)

I didn't forget the Native IV. This is my current EDC. VG-10 steel, steel liners, screw construction, Carbon Fiber handle and full flat grind. Awesome cutter!

A couple of other Natives... there's a flavor for everyone.

MinorCuts, I don't know which I like better, the blue handled or the carbon fiber versions! They are both wicked!

+1 for the Carbon Fiber Native. That is really a nice looking knife. after seeing that CF Native my next Spyderco is now either going to be a Carbon Fiber Native or a Barong. I like the look of the Barong, size, blade shape, the whole thing.

I don't think it was asked so I will. What are you going to use the knife for?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Calypso Jr? By far and away, my favorite Spydie.

I agree, the Caly Jr is a fantastic knife. I like it better than the Caly3.
