Just bought a dragonfly 2 for edc for the vg-10. Finally replacing a kershaw vapor with the crappy aus6.

A Military when I don't have to be politically correct (M4, BG42 or D2 mostly)... Other times I carry either a grey Para2, Carbon fiber Stretch, Sage I or II, Lil'Temp or a PPT

I carry a Byrd Caracara Gen 1 combination edge in my work uniform. It's quite the knife! :)

My current fave is the Dragon Fly 2, right behind it is my Black Delica.

    When I EDC Spyderco, it's either a Delica 4 or a Persistence.

Still carrying my Delica VG10 with the Saber grind. I also have a Dragonfly 2 that I take with me now and then or in place of the Delica.

Only spydercos I have are a bug, leafstorm and tenacious. I like the leafstorm sized spydies, but want something a little bit sturdier.

para2, delica, sage 1, 2, 3. Ladybug Salt H1, Manix 2, Gayle Bradley. My favorite would be the para2 for work and work-like conditions, sage 2 for everything else. If anyone wants to get into spyderco the first knife you should buy is a para2.

The only Spydercos I have left are Endura Waves, Delica Waves, and my Paramilitary 2 which is my favorite of them all.

I've had a few but the only two that have stuck are a Squeek and a Kiwi.

The kiwi is a real odd one as I found I was really enjoying carrying it but didn't like the hollow grind... So it was modded to a full flat grind.

What did you use to alter the grind? Looks handsome this way, never was a big fan of the hollow grind on any knife. Can the Kiwi be taken apart? I think it would look very nice if the scales were stonewashed

Dorset woodland blades did the mod for me http://www.dorsetwoodlandblades.co.uk/
I think it was just free handed on the grinding belt and quenched to not damage the temper.

I'm pretty sure you can take a kiwi apart but I dont know how you'd get on with the reassembly after stone washing as i think the scales are pinned all the way through (you could drift the pins out with a punch) so they'd not blend in after stone washing and re-pinning.

Yes indeed, I would hate to mess with the pins. Getting them out would be a piece of cake, but getting them back in - a bit more difficult... I think the Cricket would be an excellent knife for a stonewash project, but I'd hate to spend that kind of money on a knife of that type and accidentally ruin a beautiful blade AND waste 70$ :)

I edc a Squeak. I used to carry a leaf blade frn UKPK, but it got a bit too much attention from non knife people to be honest. I also have a Bug on my car keys which gets a bit of use.

The Squeek is a very capable tool and about as NKP friendly as possible without being a SAK.

Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me that a knife specifically designed to comply with non knife people laws and ordinances and generally give people the warm-fuzzies still makes people nervous?

What do you suppose would happen if someone whipped out a full sized SpyderHawk in front of one of them?
