Mostly a Mule and an Urban.
Spyderco Urban for me, I just love that knife. I also have a UK Penknife, but I just prefer the ergonomics and overall appearance of the Urban.
Used to carry an Endura that had a plastic (Zytel, i think) Clip. Moved on to the Endura with the Metal Clip. Now i carry the Tenacious.
Delica 4 FFG and Dragonfly 2
hmmmm- lots of Delica's no real surprise, it's lightweight, ergonomic, fits well in a pocket while still having a very useable length blade, good steel AND is relatively easy on the pocketbook ;D
Nat as EDC, but for running i always have a Delicia 4 in my pocket.
1) Spyderco Salt-has the krein regrind.. (most abused knife for for cutting. I use it in the kitchen all the time and then into the dishwasher)..so this is by far my most used knife.
2) Spyderco Police (sees a lot of back pocket time for self defense while traveling to places like brazil. But now i am replacing it with the Military!!)
two new additions that will see more time:
3) Spyderco brown Military - my favorite...(love this new spyderco for back pocket carry!)
4) spyderco para 2 camo w/black blade-newst addition and is seeing lots of front pocket carry. Just wish it was a liner lock instead.
Salts 1 and pacific Salt in Maui!
Wow! Any pictures? I'd love more info on this one!
Where's the knife?
Today I am carrying the Persistance.
My new Manix 2 has been with me the last couple of days.
My lava does not have etched handles. It also cleaves, but not as much as depicted in the photo.
You win man, you win.
Some of the Spyderco knives I EDC:
93mm Rescue (blue)
Tasman Salt (black)
1st generation Delica
Manix (EDCF moonglow knife)
The Stretch in VG-10 has dominated my knife pocket for months now, a distant second would be the Tenacious combo edge. My absolute favorite was the Sage 1 (until I gave it to my girlfriend).
Quick follow up on some new Spydies.
The Sage 1 was returned. I had to find money for the Native 5. I EDC the N5 currently. Below are the Cat G10, Persistence, and N5. I also picked up and returned a PM2. I had to get my hands on one due to the great feedback. It wasn't for me. A little too big for my EDC tastes and the compression lock wasn't as fun being a lefty.
Here is another shot of my N5 lily pad.
A couple more shots of the N5.
The Native 5 is a great knife. Perfect size, finger choil, blade shape, and G10. The blade steel is CPM S35VN which is debated online regarding quality. I have no opinion either way, but I will say it does fine. Takes a great edge and holds it. I still hate the lockback, but the knife is so nice otherwise. It does have a pivot bushing, so the blade will collapse with the lock released. This makes one-handed opening and closing much easier compared to normal lockbacks. This is the most money I've spend on a knife ($123 eBay), but excellent knife.
I have mainly spydercos in my rotation and they are:
Native 4 (black blade serrated)
Para 2's (M390 and CTS-20CP
Stretch 2 ZDP-189
I will soon be adding a native 5 to the rotation as well.
