I have an AAA on me most of the time or at the very least a nitecore tube. I'll take bigger lights if I think I need them or have them to hand in a bag or car but most of the time - given the quality of most AAA flashlights, that's plenty. I bought another one today!

I always carry a single CR123 cell flashlight. In recent years I has been a Fenix E15. Best ratio of power, pocket size, and longevity IMO.

I am a fan of the AA flashlights and at the moment carry a Quak Pro QPA. I gifted my Fenix E12 to the woman in my life. I will be picking up a Quantum D2 for my key chain as soon as I can. I like to have redundancy in my EDC.

Streamlight Nano on the keys, 4Sevens Preon 2 clipped in the back left pocket, Fenix PD35 in outer pocket of bag, Streamlight Stylus Pro in a "backup kit" deeper in the bag.
I used to carry a Streamlight Microstream clipped next to my knife in my front right pocket, but as it happens, I lost it at some point this past week and haven't been able find it :stomp:

I always have a Nitecore Tube on my keychain. If I expect to be out in the dark for a while, I might bring my Zebralight H51. I carry a Nitecore MH1A at work. I'll bring that if I am expecting to be in the dark for a prolong period.

Recently (2 or 3weeks) I've started carrying a 1xaa all the time. 3 color led, white about 140 lumens, red for not messing up night vision, and one for playing CSI. Cheap Bushnell found at Wally World. On a side note, when we took my 93 year old mother out to eat on Easter, she was getting her sunglasses out of her purse and I noticed she EDCs a 2xc flashlight.:)

It really depends on the situation. I always have a 1xAAA on my keys. At work I have a 1xAA in my pocket. Not at work I have a 2xAAA in my pocket. I also always have a 2xCR123 in my EDC bag, this gets moved to my belt if I'm out and about at night. I also have a backup 2xCR123 in my glovebox and spare batteries for all in both my EDC bag and my glovebox. Some may think I'm scared of the dark, but there is nothing worse than not being able to see.

Side note that I find to be interesting. When I first got into carrying a light everyday, it was a surefire 2xCR123. It was small enough to belt carry and bright enough to be useful. For quite a long time after that, I never changed. Recently, however, flashlight tech has gotten to the point that my 1xAA lights are brighter and run longer than my old Surefire and with neutral white tint LEDs, they are just as good or better in almost every way (My old Surefire is probably tougher and more reliable).

I rocked a 2xCR123 Haiku in my pocket, all day and everyday, for well over a year.

It was actually great, but after it dawned on me that I didn't use it all that often during the day, I decided to experiment with a 1xAAA Tain for daytime use to save some weight, thinking I could switch out to the bigger, heavier Haiku during darker hours.

You're all probably gonna hate me for saying this, but it turns out a small flashlight is just as useless as a big flashlight during the daytime. So I stopped carrying one altogether during the day. It saves pocket space, it saves weight, and considering the flashlight on my iPhone is just as bright as a AAA light, I don't feel at all unprepared.

I still throw the monster Haiku in the back pocket at night though

Eh. For as often as I'm in buildings, I'm just as happy to keep a Fenix E01 on my keychain.

Particularly today when something on my phone drained the power from 65% charge to 45% in the course of two hours.

I ordered a Streamlight Microstream C4 (AAA) recently, and I will be carrying it in my left front pocket. It's actually my first "EDC" flashlight I've bought, so I'm not sure how much I'll like carrying it. We'll see...

Stupid question probably.. But do you carry all of them at once? If so, you're my new hero! :frantic:
