Mind you, in those periods music was real proper music.
To be unbiased, they can't decide what style they want to play nowadays.
So now it's mostly electro, house and hip hop all mixed in various collaborations

Depending on my mood I sometimes like music from older periods more

Those favorites I posted earlier are for modern music so to speak.

Seen some good stuff out there. Seen some some stuff that makes me questions people's sanity, too. I joke, I joke. I kid, I kid.

But I'm in a similar boat. I listen to a bit of everything, except maybe polka. Tho, even that's not written in stone thanks to Weird Al. A lot of what I listen to would be classic rock from the good ol' days, tho with some modern rock thrown in for good measure. Electronic music, rock and roll, etc, etc, etc all have a place on my pod.

Good music knows no age boundaries. Gimme my Jeep on a road trip @ 70 MPH, windows down, T-top removed, tunes cranked to the max ... and I'm a happy old man!

I usually take my cowon music player with me. Right now it has somewhere around 18000 tracks on it of all types and genres.
My phone has another 4000-5000 tracks. Again of various types and genres. I started off listening to country when I was younger. As I've gotten older my musical tastes has expanded exponentially. My library in total is somewhere around 70000+ tunes at the moment. Spotify just launched here in Australia, which gives me access to millions more tracks. I don't think I will ever tire of finding new types of music. Right now I've been playing a lot of blues/surf/house. Next month who knows what I will be listening to ;-)

I have everything from Flatt and Scruggs (bluegrass) to Saving Abel and Skillet on my phone.
I listen to country when I lift (radio) and about half the time just casually listening, and my running music of choice (and the other half) is metal (5FDP and similar on Pandora).
Nothing quite matches a good, fast, angry, heavy metal song with a strong beat for running.

Tunes huh? Well lets see....Pantera, Sevendust, Mudvayne, Hellyeah, for workout jams. Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Candlebox, Soundgarden for all around music around the pad. Absolutely no rap for my taste, nor much country either. What can I say, 90's highschool grad...

right now listening to the pillows. i have no clue what they are saying, but it sounds nice and hard.
