Just recently started to do the same. The CS is something I tried out a few years ago, didn't really care for and put away. For some reason I revisited, and it is now an EDC. It works on my keychain in a way that my 19 year old EDC Micra does not, which makes it more convenient to carry, and I haven't really missed the other tools on the Micra. In the rare circumstance those might be needed, they are covered by whatever else I'm carrying, if anything. For my part, it's mostly an attitude change. I no longer concern myself as much about hypothetical situations.

kottskrapa, just curious why you remove the can openers? Is it because you never use them?

Yes! I have more use out of a small screwdriver with reach than a can opener. I almost never eat canned food and if I do the almost always have that little pull ring. And the small screws seams to be deep down more than not

I did a head-to-head review of the Style CS vs. the Micra on this forum some time ago. My conclusion was that whereas the Micra is a more complete multitool, the Style CS works better for me on a daily basis. The Micra has more tools, and some of them (bottle opener, screw drivers) are better than those on the Style CS. On the other hand, the Style CS has an outside opening blade. Because I do not EDC more than one bladed tool, and the blade is the one implement I use the most, this is a very useful feature for me. Also, the shape of the Style CS makes it much more comfortable in the hand when using the knife.

My one gripe about the Style CS is that the knife blade only has a liner on one side. On the other side, it is held in place with a washer that the pivot screw goes through. The pivot screw often comes loose, and that means side to side blade play. It may not be all that important on such a small, light duty tool, but it is still annoying. I consider it a design flaw, and those irk me no end.

Bought me a second-hand customized SAK. I'm loving the clip! I added the lanyard.
Has main blade, scissors, phillips, bottle opener and nail file.

Leatherman wave, got it a week ago or so, I like it, the sheath is nice but the little side pocket on it doesn't hold the bit extender very well. I don't like that, but I do like magnets and super glue...[IMG]

I spent the day cross country skiing. The Wave rode along in the waist belt pocket of my Osprey Kode 30 backpack.

Find a pen with a metal clip, it will snap right on, then you won't lose it. I'll get a pic for you.
