I decided I liked the Olight i3T so much (I bought a pair on an Amazon flash deal) that I decided to try the i5T for its increased physical size and output - 30/150/300 lumens. The i3T is 5/180 which makes for a nice nightstand light.
O-pen flashlight & pen. I often (well, before COVID-19 anyway) take notes in the dark during theatre rehearsals. Thinking this would be just the thing when (if) we ever get back to having live performances.
I took a flyer on the redesigned Streamlight Protac 90 X USB. They now have a max high of 1000 lumens (from 300), and while remaining multi-fuel, comes with their SL-B26 battery pack (also can run 2 CR123 batteries). I wanted to try a right angle light and almost went with the earlier model but decided to try the new one instead. It's a little bigger as the original version takes a single CR123 or AA battery. I have mixed feelings about spending about $25 more for this version which doesn't list an AA option. Due to arrive this coming week. This is a light for home use and to, hopefully, replace my Night-Ops Gladius which is a brilliant (so-to-speak) light but only 80 lumens. It was one of the best of the best from the old days of tactical LED lights.
Went ahead and ordered the olight ir2 eos for $5 the other day. No choice on color with the deal but push come to shove I will gift it to somebody.
lmao, I hear ya. I just hate the color red. Figured with my luck of course it will be the color I get. Guess I'll find out in 2 days. EDIT: Well mine arrived early, got the green one and it did come with a charging cord. Thought it said the "free" ones wasn't coming with one. Over all It's a nice little light for $5. I wouldn't ever give more than that for a light with a built in battery. I'll most likely stick with my 16340 S2+ as my daily but I can see my g/f wanting this one.
Just unpacked my brand new Mcgizmo Sapphire HiCri.. Couldn't be happier! And I have another eiger coming this way, SS/lug/level 4 mule. Hope that usps won't hold the package for a month like it did with the sapphire!
Not incoming but just recieved a couple of hours ago. Sofin sp33 v3, very excited to get out with this one. Off camping next week and im taking this one with me Sent from my EML-L09 using Tapatalk
I got my Streamlight 90x USB the other day and it's wonderful but, alas, the lens was cracked. The dealer was excellent and the replacement arrived today and is 100%. For me, this light is perfect as a home/bedside/defensive/security light. Held like a pistol with the 90 degree head, it's ergonomically pleasing to me and easier on my aging hands. Instead of a tail switch, it has a button up behind the head and it's very easy to access. Highly recommended for those looking for a tactical light with the right angle head. A zillion outdoor uses for clipping on a vest, belt, shirt pocket, etc. This will absolutely replace my aforementioned Gladius from all those years ago. Dual fuel as well - the included rechargeable Streamlight battery and cable or a pair of CR123s. Surprised this new light has not been reviewed on YT yet! All you find is the earlier 300 lumen version. The X model goes to 1000.
I got my replacement ProTac 90X USB and I like it so well, I ordered a second for the rig. This is an amazing flashlight, especially for people who like the right angle design.
For grins, giggles, a 20% off coupon, no sales tax, and free shipping I ordered the new Fenix E12 V2.0 from the Fenix Store. I have a couple of the originals but the new version is brighter, has a longer run time on low, AND a pocket clip. Good deal for $21.56!
