It just looks like the orange handle slabs on a black necker... ;D
I've got a plain edged, standard Delica 4 on the way. It will be my first and most likely not last Spyderco.
what do you want to say ?
Excuse but my english is poor
Sorry about that, didn't realize you were a foreign member.
I would like to see a closer picture of that knife's handle. It appears to me that you wrapped the handle.
When it comes to knives, I find I am a man of simple tastes. My EDC needs are well met by a simple plain-edged liner lock and a solid multitool. I find that my $35 CRKT Hammond Cruiser and my $65 Leatherman Wave meet these needs quite well enough. I've had both of these for 3-4 years and they've served me well. (Actually, the CRKT is a replacement, I lost my last one. NEVER LOAN SOMEONE A KNIFE!)
For camping and similar outdoor use, I prefer a fixed blade, but my tastes are still for the simple and economical. A Cold Steel Mini Bushman which cost me $20 is in my minimalist survival kit, while the Cold Steel SRK is my general purpose fixed blade. These don't get as much use as my other knives, as I find I don't have much time for outdoor recreation as I'd like.
With my basic needs thus met, but a tight budget, I am occasionally lured into purchasing a knife that is in the "want" as opposed to "need" category. At present I have two items on order from Cold Steel. The first is a Safe Maker I push dagger, purchased for approx. $40 from the Special Projects Christmas Sale. I will not carry this knife, as I doubt its legality in Chicago. I'll probably just affix it to my load bearing gear like PFC Sugarcookie so I can fight the Russian paratroopers or whatever.
The other item is a Scottish Broadsword. I bought it because I've been reading Dies the Fire by S.M. Stirling. I think I'm going to have FRONT TOWARD ENEMY engraved on both sides of the blade, near the tip.
Now that is a claymore.
Another Boker drop-point Trance - gave my first one to my son for Christmas!
Benchmade 550HG. I hope it lives up to all the hype... :-X
Just received my Entrek 11 Bravo in the mail today. Small, strong and impressive knife. Great utility knife.
I have a Peter Carey Special Rubicon on the way, as well as a small Tim Galyean blue Lahar.
I will take my own pix when the knives arrive.
The pix of the Special Rubicon are from Peter Carey.
This is my favorite folder.
Just ordered a brand new Al Mar SLB :woohoo:
After using my Boker (Potterma modded) Subcom for quite a while I realy needed something new (you can almost hear me selling this to the wife right?), yet I wanted a compact package again.
I have been on the fence for a SLB for a while, looking for one but they seem to be on backorder everywhere...
Enter Moore Cutlery: Gary did have a few in stock and the way he handles his communication and customer service is truly the best I have ever experienced.
So I just had to pull the trigger, and now the wait is on
Anxiously awaiting the arrival of a Hinderer XM-18. It's currently in Chicago!
Im waiting on funds to come in so I can order a replacement G.I pilot survival. Kind of like a K-Bar but smaller.
It's an awesome knife. I think you'll be pleased.
Well, it was actually your post in the thread "Best knife under 2.5 inches" that got me interested in the little guy.
So thanks for that :highfive:
i just picked up a white dragonfly that i dyed orange (RIT)
and i've got my first case knife coming from soonerstate, an amber bone canoe in CV with the lil injun on the blade
I have a Mora 946 on order from here. http://www.bensbackwoods.com/servlet/Detail?no=153 This will be my first Mora. I've heard lots of good, so its time to see for myself.
I hope you're as happy with it as I am.
