I’ve had smoother shopping experiences, for sure

I ordered the G10 scales and leather sheath Spyderco offers, just to get away with one international shopping fee. I think Halpern has more interesting scale options, but the plan is to make my own scales and sheath eventually. So doesn’t matter too much what I start off with.

I've got a Mora Elric and Kansbol on the way in, and they should be here tomorrow. I've been looking for a small fixed blade, as well as a full sized one for whenever I go camping again. I've always had good luck with Mora's knives, so I'm hoping these will continue the streak.

I’ve considered the Kansbol myself for a while, and almost ordered one on Black Friday, but with all the knives I’ve accumulated it would probably end up being redundant no matter how good it is.

All the kids each have their own Eldris that I sometimes borrow if I need a handy little fixed blade.

I somehow have not one, not two, but three Victorinox Serrated Spartans on the way.

    Just another D2 knife...
I'd never seen a copper anodized blade before. I'd been thinking about getting a sub 2.5" bladed knife, something with micarta scales. Saw BHQ had a nice sale on these, so I couldn't resist:
    "CRKT Burnley Desert Warrior Squid"
Kind of a joke name. "Desert Warrior" for a squid? :giggle:

I was so close to getting the jade version with stonewashed blade. Nice coloration. But this one, had to take priority.

Got a RAT II on the way.

Price was too good to pass up. Never had one, so I hope it works out.

Have a Spyderco Canis on the way. Wasn’t on my radar until I read about it on one of these thread. This knife forum is getting expensive.

Reider, please give feedback on the Spydiechef when you are able. I've considered it for awhile, but the knife is expensive and wondered if it was worth the price.

    thanks!
