MBK VLD and a Spydie Lil'native Rex45 sprint, almost forgot Knifejoy 20cv Smock. Norseman made it to New York, supposed to deliver tomorrow, hoping maybe Monday.

I have a new Spyderco Canis which is my first Wharncliffe knife and a Esee 4 s35vn which is my first Esee. Super excited for both.

What a beauty! :inlove: Since you posted this picture I know I need this knife! :)
Not easy to get in Germany and I can´t decide if I like to get the better looking modified wharncliffe blade or the all-purpose clip point blade. Are you happy with the wharncliffe blade and would buy it again?

I'm very happy with the knife. I think the wharncliffe is more useful to me than a drop point. There was a thin layer of thick oil on the blade and pivot. It still had a smooth action but after cleaning it up and applying a thinner oil, it's amazingly smooth. I'm very happy with my choice of blade and would definitely buy the same again. I actually had to wait for this configuration to come back in stock. All the others were in stock and I probably would've ordered the drop point if I didn't already buy a few Spydercos a couple of weeks earlier.

Here's a better pic of the compound grind.

I'm not usually drawn to these types of knives, but this collection is stunning!

Thank you! I already asked all local knive stores with Hogue knives for this model and Böker which is the Hogue authorized distributor for Europe. Hopefully I get a positive answer soon.

That's an amazing looking collection. Not only the damascus blades and bolsters. Really liking the handles also. Which ones - if any - qualify as antique or vintage? These are NOT today's run of the mill by any stretch!

    Thanks Moshe:)

Actually none of these are antique or vintage in terms of when they were made, but all of these have handles made from Mammoth tusks, so all the handles are very very old:)

To say the least! I have seen pics of some GEC knives with mammoth (tusk? bone?) scales... but nothing like your collection.

I liked the Cold Steel Scout so-much, that I scarfed-up another one. Too much great knife to pass-up for 100 bucks!!

    Finally the Hogue Deka.

I could not get the wharncliffe blade in Germany (out of stock at Hogue and no plan for production yet) but I´m very happy with the clip point blade also :inlove:
