I believe he is referring to the thumb studs. Most Sebenzas feature blue anodized lugs. I know mine do.

LOL “lugs” is my brain fart word replacement for studs, as in thumb studs. Trying to work from home and type on my iPhone simultaneously.

I'm still waiting on the Boker Magnum lil friend from Amazon.

And DLT is dropping a dealer exclusive Manix 2 in 20cv and red g10 scales so I'll have to order one of those. I really like the Manix 2.

Beauty! Is that knife one that can be carried in pocket with the sheath (without the belt clip of course!)?

Kershaw Ken Onion Lefty Mini-Task. Great knife, lost one years ago, it always bothered me. Finally won a NIB/Mint replacement on eBay the other day.

Overall length is 190mm (7.5”). A little to long for pocket carry I guess. I will carry it in my EDC bag in addition to a folder in the pocket.

Well, I've sort of wanted to try out a Norseman for a few years, I know, lots of hype and all, but still... So I do typically prefer larger knives for EDC, while carrying a smaller backup fixed or folder. I saw a few that spoke to me, but they were all bad timing and wasn't able to pull the trigger. About an hour ago 1 of 60 Pandemic limited editions dropped. I'd been watching the site with the aid of some software for updates, but every time they were gone. So yeah, a bit difficult to snag!

Anyway, the following Spoke to me for multiple reasons, favorite color, interesting limited design, and being a something to look back upon to remember the times.

Images are from the Grimsmo site.

I think I might be done with knives for the year (don't laugh). I ordered 2 DLT Manix 2's on Tues and then tonight, I got an email alert for the Hogue Deka in Blue G10 and wharncliffe blade after being out of stock for a few weeks so I had to order one.

Why did nobody correct him that he's not wrong?

I have a Ka-Bar Becker B16 en route. Not certain I needed it but I don’t have many fixed blades, really just a small Survive Knife - 2.7, I think, and found the Becker for less than $70.

I've been bored for the last month or so and started ordering knives among other things.

    Knives I bought this year:
    Benchmade Bailout M4
    Boker mini Strike
    Esee 4 3d blue scales
    Esee Candiru (used)
    2x Manix 2 CS exclusive
    PM2 S45VN
    PM2 BBS M390
    2x Manix 2 DLT exclusive
    Hogue Deka
    Boker Magnum lil friend
    MTech MT673
    4 Lynch clips
    Gerber Prybrid

The only thing left is a CRK 'Zaan w/tanto blade but I'm not that motivated to get one... yet. This year can't end soon enough for me :)

    *Edit*
    This came today

I can only speak for myself. Having never even looked at the Chris Reeve Knives website, just never saw the thumb studs described as lugs!

My knife education continues... EDCF is a wonderful educational institution... ;)

I guess that’s how the word “lug” got into my head. :p

I think you're going to like it, I know I love mine. Super light weight and easy on the pocket. Flicking the knife closed takes a little practice though.

    Congrats!
I'm really considering that knife myself. I've been on a slip joint / non-locking folder kick lately, especially those that mix in some useful modern features, and this one is hard to ignore in that regard.
The only thing holding me back (besides a horribly weak NOK) is the blade shape. It's probably just a matter of getting used to it, it's just that I've established a habit of preferring to either have a good belly or something sheepsfoot-ish...
Currently hoping to get in on a TRM Atlas, so I probably have quite some time to think before that one is received and my finances has recovered.
