Ordered my first Microtech the other day, expected to be in the mail box tomorrow. I got the full serration Bounty Hunter. I love Star Wars and a Boba Fett inspired knife plus an OTF? Can't get any better than that. Excited to see how it feels in person!
Two on the way: From BHQ: Case Tribal Lock with yellow (not sure they're Delrin!) covers, SS blade... eta Monday 9/9/2019! I have a 'thing' for traditional yellow covers on traditional pocket knives. From DLT: GEC Northfield pattern '12' toothpick; copperhead pony cut bone covers, carbon steel blade; eta probably Wednesday 9/11! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Why do I never learn to be patient enough when buying knives. Both knives I have incoming went on sale today...
Well, on the bright side, they now seem to be held in customs. These knives better be good, if they ever get here..
Good postman brought me good stuff today.. Ruike p801 flipper.. Very nice. A bit lighter and slimmer than my Sanrenmu Land 910. Just right. Gerber Dime.. Was 10 euro on amazon. Compared to my lost 40 euro Squirt the Squirt was way nicer. But not 4x the price nicer. Dime has black coating so the useless short file is extra useless. Blade is kinda blunt. But I only bought it for the pliers anyway. It has tweezers which is nice. It will do the job. The stupid bottle opener will be ground away.
Received notice that the new Fällkniven F1xb fixed blades were available from KSF. So I ordered one. It is a new version of their regular F1s. (Available in F1, S1 and A1).
I just realized the 21 is being replaced, but why the rush, isn't the 31 just minor incremental improvements over the 21?
No longer inbound, Ordered early Monday morning, shipped within a couple hours from Finland, arrived High Noon Wed. Impressive shipping time, US vendors could learn a bit from Lamnia! Cheburkov Russkiy (Russki) in S125V
Thats what i got too. They come so tight its unbelievable . They take a little time to loosen up . I have mint one as a backup and the difference is unbelievable. When the 21s dry up i will believe, i will let it go . Jake
I've been slimming down the knife collection and selling off the ones that never leave the drawers. So today I ordered a Bradford Guardian 3.5. I used to have a guardian 3 but got bit by the sharp bit at the front of the finger choil a couple times. looking forward to having another fixed blade EDC capable knife. Grizz
