Just ordered THIS sweet little lefty DPx Gear Heat/F.
Have a Benchmade 940-1 for myself and a Buck with my oldest daughters name engraved on it for her. Should be here monday.
Well, before I got to the Post Office the regular guy was back making the rounds; knife was delivered. The remaining mystery is why on earth Amazon took their contract AWAY from UPS as preferred carrier and gave it to the Post Office. Cost savings obviously, but they (Amazon) will have many more pi***d customers!
The Spyderco ClipIt with secondary serrated blade however is sweet. Solid SS; so despite it being small it definitely has mass. Don't understand why they bothered with the pocket clip on this one. Really too small to clip on a pocket; the clip just adds needless bulk in the pocket. As soon as I figure out which driver fits the clip screws will be undone!

This clip can be very useful if you carry the knife in a bag's inner pocket. My wife likes to do that, this way she wouldn't have to search for it at the ground of that bag which seems to be bigger from the inside than the outside dimensions show...
And this way the knife won't get scratched up too much.
Waiting for simplicity in it's purest folding form - a Higonokami. This one from Nagao Kanekoma in blue steel.
It's on its way

That's a great lookin' knife Ray!
Would that be complexity in it's simplest folding form?
Meanwhile, simplicity would be a fixed blade...
Nice looking blade in either case.
7 months to the day. I got a phone call from Heather at Chris Reeve today telling me that my small lefty "Glorious" Sebenza is ready to ship!!!!! I should have it by Thursday!!!!
I'm not American but I must say I like this engravement. Would it be an overkill if it was anodized?
Recieved this today, along with an engraved Buck bantam for my daughter. I know, bad picture

What do they say? Great minds think alike... LOL
I asked about having it anodized but they don't offer it on this knife. I asked if it would void the warranty and was told yes. But... I was told that I could order a plain Ti scale to put on if I ever needed to send it back for a spa treatment or something else, if I decided to have it anodized elsewhere.
Just picked up a Benchmade Mini Reflex 2550. Very nice for edc. Spring mechanism is very smooth. Sent an email to Benchmade requesting a black deep pocket clip and got that within a week. Very impressive customer service.
I had about $27.50 left on a gift card that was refunded to me after a price went down, so I used it to order one of the newer olive drab No. 8 Opinels. Also picked up on eBay for 22 bucks and change, coming soon I hope, a new, old stock Imperial Barlow from around late 60's to maybe early 80's (Has that one tang that goes from like 54 to 88') with crackled ice handles and instead of a pen blade...a cap lifter. Unique design. Nice long pull blade, too.
I believe I've seen a sebenza with anodized stars'n'stripes, but I guess then the deeper sections should be shiny to take the color and the higher areas should be sanded over again as there the thin layer rubs off very quickly anyways.
Well, you'll post your result if you ever get it done
Hey MbD sir,
You are referring to the ClipiTool right? Well, they saw how well it does on the KeyCom THAT'S why the clip is on it. Just kidding. Don't lose that clip sir, it'll be going right back on it. You should do a review on that model. Seems interesting. I submitted one to them called the ******** but too many projects on the plate at the time. Even tried with Boker...nope. Gonna resubmit my ******** and see what happens.
Hey Adahn sir,
My soulmate does the same thing for her back up knives. I was laughing about the "bag dimensions"...because I thought of my soulmate's purse. It's like a black hole, or a magicians hat on the interior.
Good seeing you, and be safe!

LOL. Yes, that is the one. Or one of a tribe of 3 to be more correct. (Other variations have a scissor or a screwdriver/bottle opener as the secondary). I'll keep the clip after removal, for sure. Just the way I roll. Doubt I'll do a review; there's a plethora of posts on edcf about this little family...
