Looking for a production folding knife and thought some of you could nudge me into the right direction. Specs should include: One hand opening, clip for tip up carry, materials should be carbon or titanium and a good steel (S35V, S110V, M390, M4 something like that). Nice solid lock would be appreciated. Something in the CRK or Hinderer league. Strider are not my thing, the handle turns me off.

    Suggestions, please?

What about a cherbukov? They sell through tools for gents in Europe and are stellar knives

Thanks for the suggestion, but they put a little to much bling to them. Like I got the Insignio in plain, for a reason.

Very intriguing, especially in white. That might even break my rule about the way I carry. The clip is on the wrong end, for me. Thanks for it, will definitely comb through them.

Interesting. A top league Spyderco. Thanks for the suggestion. Will read through the tests and look at the YouTube materials.

Cherbukov does also do the stuff plain :D for example the strisch without inlays, pretty much a russian sebenza(with better steel). Plus it's a custom after all so it'll be built according to your order ;)

Slysz I'd second, Southard not so much; especially with the Spyderco prices in europe

Since you mentioned CRK, I suggest an Inkosi.

Sorry no offense, but the Southard is underwhelming for me.

Benchmade Griptillian 550HG. Love the looks and feel of them. Even better would be a Bone Collector version. Really LOVED the green handled version.

Sorry, again no offense, but the Revell handle on this knife is really not my thing. Had a Grip and exchanged them against Cuscadi Vintage. That made it much better, but nevertheless I sold it later. Not the kind of knife I am looking for.

Maybe I should add, I'd like one with stag or bone scales as well. What I'm mainly looking for, is EXCELLENT fit and finish and real good materials. Not a fan of bling or embellishments. Like I will not put anything on the XM-18, like skulls or beads or whatnot.

About the Fallkniven PXL, I've got the one in maroon micarta. It's a beatiful knife, thought in tip down only, and the thumb studs are too long and tend to catch in the pocket, sometimes opening the blade unadvertently (maybe mine has a weak detent). I still love it despite this, and sometimes carry it in my rotation.
