Well I'm new to all this, but my keyring has on it.

    Victorinox MiniChamp II
    Leatherman PS4
    Peanut Lighter
    Fenix E05 flashlight

At the moment it also has a small sharpening stone in plastic case that I'm assured is military issue, and a Storm emergency whistle. It is actually a few rings, keys on one, tools on another, held together with some spring clips I found on eBay.

I might have to make some revisions, it is quite bulky. I've a Fox 40 Classic on order. It's not as loud as the Storm, but it does take up less space. I also have a Gerber Shard on order to give me some small prying ability.

I do take the tools off the key ring when I'm in the car. I don't want to wear the ignition tumblers out prematurely.

I've gone as minimal as I can. The only two I carry every day are:

    1. Dan Fairly D2 keychain tool
    2. Valiant Concepts stainless steel keychain pen
    3. Both carried on a Lucky Line keychain

    -keys
    -streamlight nano
    -TT pocketskull v3
    -willydigger villain/lanyard

I don't like keeping too much stuff on there or it gets too bulky.

My favorite are the Leatherman Squirt
    and the Fenix E01
They have been just enough for my keychain without being over kill.

How would you rate the Gerber Shard as a primary bottle opener? I've got a Gerber mini-suspension on my keychain and my primary bottle opener is the one off of that. I just put in an order for the Shard on Amazon, and also plan on swapping my standard #4 S-biner to a Nite-Ize AHH like you have and taking the mini-suspension off. I didn't know if you had both the AHH S-biner and the Shard because one or the other didn't serve well as a bottle opener or anything.

The shard is a decent bottle opener and the ahhh is a phenomenal bottle opener. Also if I pull my keys out to use the shard, my hand is already on the ahhh sooo I just use that.

Great idea with the strike anywhere matches in the delrin capsule. I have the same capsule and will now be getting some of those matches. Better option than a lighter for me personally for emergency fire starter

    1) Vic Rambler (love having the bottle opener and Phillips while keeping the same small form factor)
    2) Fenix E01 (can't think of a better back up flashlight)
3 Delrin AAA capsule (keeps emergency battery for E01)
    4) Kingston 16GB flash drive (currently has season 5 of Breaking Bad on it. Thanks Tim!)
    5) ....Looking to add a pry tool. Most likely will be a Gerber Shard. Great value from what I've read.

All are kept on a CountyComm A&P key ring)

Cheers! Maybe I'll just stick with the Shard then. I'm really a fan of the s-biner's shape, feel and size as a keyring so not sure I want to mess around with a good thing and switch to the Ahhh.

I like my keychain small and clean. Only a few keys on a split ring and a brass fishhook for hanging them inside my pocket.

But I usually carry one of those:
    - A TTCopper in my 5th jeans pocket
    - Vox Access Tool clipped to my keychain or loose in the depth of my pocket.
    - And a 'Pry 3' pocket tools from Fabio Dalla Costa is in the making at the moment.

My 'light and saber' combination is full size and carried separately:
    - A Müller MSP Backlock (S90V blade and ironwood handle) in right front pocket.
    - A HDS Systems Clicky clipped into my left front pocket.

Okay, I replaced the Storm with the 40 Classic. Maybe not as loud but much smaller. I dropped the sharpener and added the Shard. I also found a small, all stainless Chinese knife in my drawer. I sharpened it up and hung it on the chain too. It is quite adequate for opening letters and small cutting jobs.

All the tools have individual clips, and hook to a ring that has its own clip to the main keyring. That way I can disconnect them for use, or the whole lot to take the weight off my keyring.
